My Madewell bag has such a leather which is ten time better than this one. They could just use better quality leather, simple as that, for that money. This looks like plastic.

Probably true, and I own this bag in black with gold hardware. It doesn’t wear well but she’s a lot prettier than madewell bags to me so it’s worth the money for me.
