I imagine flicking or turning your wrist left and right could assist the wheel direction enabling it to roll each way? I was told my my mobility trainer the wheel was useful for those on a wheelchair letting it roll ahead to forewarn of obstacles.
Thanks for this. I often wonder if some kind of universal joint at the cane tip would make a difference in use. You need a good left and right action at any time but even more so on tracks out in nature. Any suggestions for walking rough tracks? McIntyre. Scotland.

i just purchased this tip. Would this be good for snow? CNIB only has 2 wheel types and i thought maybe this would work.
