It is partially true. Paul said that Till would experiment much with fire. Smth like while the rest of the group do something off stage (rehearsel or new composition making), there come a great boom and noise and then Till appears covered all in black but happy as hell. If I'm not mistaken it was quoted in one of the books...

One has really to witness Rammstein live at least 1 time in his life. I've seen them two times and both were mind blowing. No video can reproduce the decibels on those riffs, or even feel the heat from the explosions and flame thrower stuff.
that's what I keep telling to people.even without any pyro and other gimmicks NO ONE can come close to R+ in loudness and heaviness of riffs in concert. everybody should see them live at least once in their lifetime. and show itself is pretty overwhelming,they will make you jump most of time ,sing along , smile and even cry. p.s. I passed out for few seconds during their show in 2013. gonna see them next month and I hope that I would pass out again :D
I agree with many years following them, I could manage to see them live in Paris, it s something of mind blowing and I booked yesterday my ticket for next year show in Lyon. Incredible band and greatest show you can attend
No f'n doubt. I have a couple of their live DVDs but nothing can compare to when I saw them. It is truly a mindblowing, unforgettable experience. Utterly incredible. WOW!!!!!

I needed to witness CAN they pull out huge and clean sound on stadium. they fuckin nailed it,and 3/4 of show was unfortunately at daylight but they nailed everything,sound was really good in the beginning and after Richard's solo performance of "Deutchland" remix the sound went unbelievably good and huge,just unbelievable. and Light show and firework on "rammstein" song is something that I will remember on my deathbed.

Saw them in the frankfurt jahrhunderthalle, fought my way to the front row and had to leave because people were passing out from not getting enough air and from the heat of the pyro - there was a steady stream of first responders having to wade into the crowd and pull people out that had passed out and were on the floor. Best concert ever. i saw them again in Edmonton AB, but i'm guessing that they had to reduce the amount of pyro in the show because it was nothing like the other show. Still an awesome concert.

Seeing Rammstein was like going to see a circus in Hell ! Unbelievable! Best concert I've ever seen, and I'm 54 and seen a shitload of concerts. Rammstein beats them all.
Seen these guys live twice now, hands down the best live sets I've ever been witness to. Sure other bands have great crowd interaction, other's know how to improv well and create unique music on the spot, but no-one comes close to recreating the sheer awesome show that Rammstein put on. Soon as they tour near me again I'm going, it just never gets old.

I had the privilege to see Rammstein at te beach in new years eve in Mexico last year, it was the best concert in my life so far... there was so much fire on stage that the beach felt icy after that. This guys are fucking awesome

Seen these guys three times definitely the best live show going everytime I see them it's like what are they going to do next and every time I'm blown away by them hopefully will be seeing them for a fourth time coronavirus permitting in June. If you haven't seen this guys perform live try and do so you won't be disappointed.
For me "Ich tu dir weh" is missing here. For me that was one of the most impressive ones because Till was basically standing on a super tiny spot without any security
