To be fair, Zelda ended the Calamity with a stalemate and Hyrule won more of a pyrrhic victory at the end of Breath of the Wild.

Oh damn I went into Age of Calamity completely blind (I avoided every single ounce of info about it online) and I ended up bawling my eyes out MULTIPLE times through the game.

Absolutely love this song that I listen to it on loop! The footage goes so well with the song and the lyrics are so well thought out that it shows a lot of care was taken when it came to creating this song. Kinda wish there was an instrumental version, but I can always dream.
I don’t know why, but those last few shots at the end gave me CHILLS. This was incredible!

To be honest, I wanted them to win in the game. At the same time, Nintendo mislead us with the facts about the game. Take the first trailer of the game for example.

That said I wish we got more scenes of Link interacting with Mipha and the other champions. Him and Mipha r meant to be close friends but they hv like 1 proper scene together

Plus, it was told that Mipha really was in love with Link. Also, we still know nothing about Astor at all. Jeez, you think they would give us some of his background.

@@Ironmanash or maybe it will be an alternate timeline deal. Remember the warriors game aren’t exactly canon to the original storyline. Possible alternate timeline

I'd like to think that this song is in parallel to what link is thinking durring the events 100 years ago. When i played age of calamity i couldn't shake the feeling that link has a deep hatred for the various monsters and malice in hyrule, you can see it in his combos that all of his attacks have a weight of "righteous judgement" to them like how a Warhammer 40000 space marine would execute xenos, i feel like those are cracks in his personality and show's how determined he is to kill all the monsters AoC and all the more heartbreaking it is when he fails in the canon events

@@OctoHedgy but would that cause the timeline to split or disappear the BOTW time because it’s different from Ocarina, the reason for the timeline to split in Ocarina is because of the Tri forces realm power this time the tri force was not involved 🤔
