Be ye perfect for I am perfect. It speaks of maturity. And to the extent that the law allows we should be keeping his Commandments. No excuses. Because Grace which can be interpreted as power is given to us to be able to do so. It may take time to get it right. But it is not impossible. For all things are possible through Christ. Be holy for I am Holy. I do not think he would have given us these Commandments if we were unable to do so with him in us. For if he cannot accomplish this in us then what kind of God is he?

1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NIV): "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
2 Peter 3:9 (NIV): "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV): "Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'"
Romans 10:1 (NIV): "Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved."
