@kamuidrome. I road a dirtbike only a couple times and it was always on pavement. Never got to off road. I picked it up once but purely by accident. That was before I started riding streetbikes and before I learned to wheelie, so it scared the crap outta me. 😂😂😂
I still have mine. Delkevic can, removed my rubber tunnel ram, and up jetted. Fantastic. 1st through 3rd is pure fun. Getting used to the power. Looking for a NOS kit now for a 20-30 shot.
A superb old school nacked motorcycle.. I was the owner of a 1995 Bandit 400. Incredible bike and a beautiful pure exhaust sound! Thanks Ken for sharing your videos! And as you always say, God bless America... Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
I done that same exact thing to the 1200 Bandit I had took the plastics off same color ! It was a pretty fast bike but it was no match for my GS1150ES . But definitely a cool bike for cruising around or getting down.
my bandit is the 2005 version never seen a garage in its life in the six years ive ownred it only brakes tyres chain and oil and the petcock have been changedbest road bike ever owned. Has 135,000 miles does not like the cold morning starts though

Love the color of this Bandit. D&D makes the best pipes around for streetbikes, imho. Texas Made. The exhaust note on this bike is 100% Perfect, imho...Throaty and Muffled.
~ awesome ~ my GSXR 400 project is the last to do on my projects, gota send the forks for rechrome, got Delkevic downpipes a bespoke carbon can, sponge filters and a set of RF900 CARBS, they're the same but the inlet is a couple mm broader and you have to swap the braces etc over....I might look at a programmable ECU but I'm building it for longer distances, not racing, all my other bikes are around 200cc late 70s/early 80s Honda and a 2015 KTM DUKE 200 modified.....Bandit are notoriously tuned and reputed in the biker community over here in England
Everytime I’ve been eyeing up a new bike you seem to drop a video on that specific bike… Last month it was the Intruder 1400, now I’m once again looking at the Bandit 1200. I am stuck between the two. I’ve currently got an 07 Sv650s (which I absolutely love) and a 94 RF900 which needs abit of carb work. What you reckon?
@@DetroitFettyghost The Bandit is a 1200 from factory. It's detuned also. The GSXR 1100 was around 145 bhp. The 1200 bandit is 106bhp with a glob more grunt lower down. It's based on the 1100 oil/air-cooled motor. No aftermarket big bore kit. It was bored out from factory.
That big ol round headlight sure makes it look like dog poop..Put something like a 600cc Radian headlight on it if you really want to make it much better looking !!
@ianbratt9237 the 94 is a slingshot it will fit straight in , add 43mm flat side carbs and the 6 speed gearbox. It's a pity we can't share pics on here , I'd share pics of the street fighters I've built over the years
Yeah, the original fairing is boring on all generations of the bandit. If you want a cool street fighter, the fairing simply has to go. However the fairing is very functional. If you regularly want to go fast and far, the original fairing is better kept on.
I am so disappointed in you Kaplan! That is the wheelie king of bikes. I thought you would have ripped a huge wheelie! I've built 6 Bandit 1200's with parts from Dale Walker Performance. They call me the BMX Bandit. The S model has a fairing!
This was my first bike. I learned to wheelie on this. They are perfect for it. Plus they take a beating and keep coming back for more. ❤
Mine was CB NIGHT HAWK EQUALLY A GREAT WHEELIE BIKE
@kennethhacker3014 My buddy had one of those. They are great bikes. 🔥
Awesome, did you have experience on dirtbikes before hand or nah

Scary fast bikes with a little work...and she looks amazing. Love it
Seen em with 1600cc on the dragstrip with superchargers...insane.
One of the greatest bikes Suzuki ever made.
Had a 97 600 loved mine

Dzen dobry!
Sounds wicked with that pipe! ❤
Great bike. Very popular here in Europe . In France . Naked bike. Hooligan bike.
Mate come down to Australia and do a desert tour through the centre up to the top end
Sweet big boy ride! Thanks for sharing team Kaplan!

The Bandit is a 1200 Ken. It's called a GSF 1200
The bandit 1200 was actually 1157cc @@DetroitFettyghost
@@DetroitFettyghostthe katana 1100 was actually 1127cc
@DetroitFettyghost and you were absolutely correct on the model.. great bikes
Everything is a few cc's smaller than the number advertised except for the few that were over

And the motor fits into a GSXR 750 Slingshot 😂😂 🇬🇧
I got a 94 gsxr 750. I had ideas if the 1100 or bandit 1200 fits in the frame.

I’m in the market for a mint like new KZ1300 DFI or Carbs please keep your eyes open. 😉

I dunno why but I thought they were 1200's
They are a 1200. Based on the Gixxer 1100 air oil cooled motor. Bored out and de tuned for more torque lower down
@@posniknelb6114 they only went from 1100(1127cc)to 1200(1157cc) yes..
Tough as Gorilla Snot and twice as nasty! I have several oil cooled/air cooled Suzuki
The zrx 1200 was a better bike
