Another Chanukah ad from @OnTimeStudios. These guys have a very serious latke cooking competition. Between the amount of donuts they eat, and the deep fried, oversalted latkes too, no wonder they stopped publishing! Maybe they're all banned from making ads by their cardiologists!
Happy chanukah everyone! Hearty appetite :)

Thankfully ALL the men in my family are awesome cooks! In our family we see knowing how to cook as a survival skill.🙂 And females in our family have to know how to chop and split wood for heat in the winter. We live in the California Sierras where we get snow up to the roofline.

Yes the advertising industry needs to relearn how to make commercials that we stay to watch vs turning off volume and/or off the channel. By learning from the Hasidic communities' style and frequent humor

Basically having a man , any man, in your kitchen is like having a bull in your china closet. My husband has no concept of how to close a drawer. When he cooks every drawer in the kitchen is open , making it easy to drop all manner of “stuff” into the drawers, turn around and run into the drawers , etc etc etc..

The sheer number of professional male cooks/chefs/households where the man does the majority of the cooking say you’re wrong. Perhaps it’s a cultural thing, perhaps it’s a control issue that you have or maybe it’s weaponized incompetence. Either way you’re just flat out incorrect madam.

They're attempting to fry potato pancakes. In Jewish known as potato latkes. Eaten anytime of the year. But is more commonly eaten on chanukah. Since the miracle of chanukah involved oil, it's traditional to prepare foods made with oil, like fried foods and donuts that are actually fried before baking.

Hysterical. Maybe because I’m a Christian without Jewish food traditions, I use shredded potatoes and reddi egg. Been making these forever. My grandmother was Pennsylvania Dutch and I use her 100 yr old recipe. Tried cuisinart for potatoes, too much clean up and they turn brown too fast.
