You just have to figure out how to get the shape into a sketch, and the rest is easy. I managed to put my company's logo onto a curved surface. Just had to manually project the logo onto an sketch, and then isolate the sketch to eliminate the references. And then just copy and paste this sketch into my design and use the steps mentioned here.
