So many Napoleon Total War uploads these days Apollo. I think I commented many a times underneath your NTW videos that you spoil us too much but I'm starting to think you're spoiling yourself as well by going back to these amazing battles and I can't say I disagree with that approach ;)
Personally my favourite Total War to play is Shogun 2 but all in all I can say that Napoleon Total War battles are by far the most cinematic and most technically impressive to watch. No other game quite has such tactics. Keep on pumping them out Pixie!
I love Shogun too, it's just that I suffered a burnout eventually after hundreds of hours spent in-game. I might come back, but it'll take time. Goddamit, game, why are you so good ? =)
Apollo, the enemy's superiority in artillery is not due to luck, but instead the choice of artillery. Howitzers, due to their "mortar" nature and huge area of effect can cause **huge** damage to infantry, specially if bunched up. The howitzer's only downside is the range,but it still is probably the best artillery only second to the unicorns exclusive to the Russians, always take howitzers if you can! 6 lb. horse artillery is mobile, but its meagre firepower only kills 3 or 4 people in a direct hit, the morale damage is the only reason to get it, and its mobility. However, the mobility could be countered by a defensive enemy with a howitzer, who, if you approach, will have more firepower and the defensive ground. Take more howitzers and 8lb, 9lb, and 12lb cannons is the real message, it can turn battles.

Not gonna lie, I've not been able to watch much of this channel for a while because of the audio/visual demands of animating work and what's needed to really appreciate total war. But I was curious about the title and clicked in... what an AMAZING intro!!!
You could use darth mod for some total wars it makes the units bigger and makes it looks more realistic with better smoke and music while they are marching. Btw it was a great video keep up the good work

The divergence point might have to be with Charles II of Spain dying, and the French Bourbons somehow managing to inherit Spain by winning the War of Spanish Succession. This would mean the 'Spaniards' in this battle were Franco-Spanish in origin, and the Portuguese coming along for the ride. That being said, I'm no historian, and even then I know enough to lol, just freakin' *LOL* at the other European powers letting Bourbon Franco-Spain last until the 19th century.
I was actually laughing at the beginning at the idea of Spain and Portugal invading Prussia and Great Britain. Glad that Apollo acknowledged the absurdity, lol.

My favorite total war is throne of Britannia it shows the Viking culture in my country a lot of people thought that Dublin was built by a earl but to know that CA knew that and did research and even put unique and some are historical correct factions like the ones in Waterford and thanks to Apollo duiflin campaign I was very unsure about getting the game but I’m glad I did

How do you keep your men to March forward together rather than apart? When I control several units and choose where I want them to go they move forward but with further distance.
