Napoleon was a military god. Some of those battles (like Austerlitz) he had no business winning but he pulled out victory after victory. Even losses didn't set him back as much as they would have set others back.

i agree; you actually won that battle. point: i thought "square/carre" was a defense against cavalry? i thought, however; VERY vulnerable versus infantry assault?! of course, as well as "sitting ducks" to artillery? would say this: Napoleon would have considered your efforts VERY sloppy indeed! LOL still a VERY enjoyable watch; good job, PA! thanks; love watching these more realistic type battles.

Soooo glad to see somebody finally mention how to use the landscape and sprinting to avoid cannon fire when attacking 🙏 Finally some players that utilise it properly to good effect. There are a lot of players that don't use this common sense approach, making some battle viewing unbearable.

NTW3 has broken recently it seems, my version doesn't work anymore in custom battles (I didn't change anything) The new version is coming out soon though, hopefully that will fix this issue ! Best mod ever for sure

Pixelated Apollo how do you get the dust trails and gun smoke and the sound effects that were in this battle I cant seem to find how to get in napoleon total war. Is it a DLC?
The Austrians made a great start by knocking out the cannons but made childish moves for not pressurising the crossings (Choke Points) especially not moving the cannons. Then only having lights and one line infantry on his left, they must of been 12 years old for not reacting quick enough, they had the height and were defending so had the advantage.

Apollo didn't see the Austrians trying to surround his army for nearly 6-7 minutes. Pretty painful video in terms of tactical mistakes to a seasoned Napoleon TW player. But still, it was nice.
Can anyone help me? My Napoleon total war has no sound I tried going to my files but ntw file wasn’t their I downloaded the back file now I can’t access it? I can even add the sound mod bc I can’t access the files wth do I do?

Actually they kind of switched side, because Lombardy was an Austrian territory, but they decided to join Napoleon. Also they had a good fight.
