Protestants: “The Bible is my final authority.” Also Protestants: “This Church Father seems like he may possibly agree with me when I take him out out of context so my doctrine must be true.”
What do you think about Acts 8:37 and 1 John 5:7 which are only found in Latin vulgate manuscript? Is it Jerome who translated so, if so what was his reference? Does the clementine vulgate too have them.
To attack the Trinity is to make a mockery of the Gospel, and if the gospel is mocked, the atonement of Christ is undermined. It is one thing to misunderstand the Trinity, which some even admit to, but it is dangerous to completely deny and reject it. The apostles knew that God was a Trinity, the early church fathers knew God is a Trinity, and the Bible is contrary to oneness doctrine. Modalism (a.k.a. Sabellianism) was soundly condemned by the orthodox church-even before the doctrine of the Trinity was defended at the Council of Nicaea. For example, second and third-century church leaders like Tertullian (160-220), Origen (184-254), Dionysius (3rd century), and others clearly denounced it. Since the Councils of Nicaea (325) and Constantinople (381), modalism has been universally understood by every major branch of Christianity as heretical-falling outside the boundaries of theological orthodoxy. The Council of Constantinople, for example, explicitly condemned and anathematized “the Sabellians” in both Canon I and VII. The Athanasian Creed adds this: “Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic [universal] faith; which faith except everyone do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.” (Importantly, as a side note, the Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople did not invent the doctrine of the Trinity; rather, they defended and articulated what orthodox Christians had always believed, from the time of the apostles. It is critical to remember that the doctrine of the Trinity is established in Scripture, not church history. The early councils merely affirmed the biblical teaching in the face of heretical attack. Please do your research on Church History. The trinity didn't come into the Church until 385a.d. It came from pagan teachings. All pagan religions have a trinity. The Jewish religion never had a trinity. Jesus is the God of the Jews. Just where do you read in Scripture that one has to accept the trinity in order to receive salvation. You are obviously not reading the Bible. And you didn't even listen to this video. Over 3,000 verses God says He is God alone, and there is no other. Through out the OT He declared to the Hebrews to not go defile themselves like the Pagan who had many gods. So you are trying to say that God changed His mind in the NT and became a trinity. Or you are saying that God lied in the OT, and didn't tell us that He was a trinity. It seems to me you are mocking God. Go do your homework.
You are apparently ignorant of history, @@hargisP2. Jews were Binatarian until around 100 A.D. because they saw one God in their scriptures, yet "Two Powers." Yes, it's called Two Powers theology. Answer: who was in the burning bush? Who was present when Moses was in the cleft of the rock? Who led the Hebrews out of Egypt? There are are so many more examples in the Old Testament, but you can begin to get an understanding of how Jews read their Hebrew scriptures, and what they noticed.
To be in a trinity cult is to be part of the world wide religion of the Roman Catholic cult. The Harlot church. To be part of the trinity cults is a slap in the face of the one God of the Jews. Jesus Christ. To be part of the triad cults is the practice of witch craft. To be part of the trinity cults, one blasphemes the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:38 calls all witches and warlocks to flee from these demonic cults.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
At 19:27 you said, "Constantine was baptized probably in Jesus' name, as an Arian, hopefully maybe before he died." I didn't know you're Oneness/Jeus-only; you're worshipping a false deity. God has clearly revealed Himself in Scripture to be Triune. It's nice to read & understand Church History as well as Historical Theology, but at the end of the day, the Scripture is final authority.
I don't about a perfect definition of God. Trinity, one God who is express in three names was one doctrine, in explaining what the Bible is saying. Maybe not a perfect idea, but it seems the best so far.
Pastor Steve, You agree it may be a good idea to read early church sources "right from the horse's mouth," as you say? Great! Please take a look at the guys who studied at the feet of the apostles, like Polycarp, Ignatius of Antioch and Clement. You will find they believed and taught a hierarchical church, with a uniform liturgy, bishops and priests, Seven Sacraments and the sacrifice of the Mass. Why follow the teaching of men who innovated new doctrines in 1540, 1690, 1790 or 1870 regarding the doctrines of Christianity when you can go right back to the "horse's mouth" and learn what the apostles themselves taught the first believers? Want a intro the the early fathers that gives a brief overview with quotes from the fathers themselves? I would recommend "The Fathers Know Best" by Jimmy Akin. With my prayers and best wishes sir...

I’ve done multiple vids on 1 John 5:7, and acts 8:37 in some other vids. Check moormans manuscript guide.
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa Thankyou Pastor. God bless!
Two of the oldest extant Vulgate manuscripts (i.e., Codex Fuldensis & Codex Amiatinus) do not have the Comma in 1 John 5:7.

The trinity is a mystery. The old Testament use plurals of God thousands of instances. The FACT is that God is unfathomable.
They did not use plurals for in in 1,000s of instances my friend, only a few.
Nine. Mormonism teaches that unabashedly.

Triune is not a Scriptural word.
So you must be part of the witch craft worshiping cult of the Roman Catholics or one of her daughter cults.
