YES! I am a new convert. Came from witchcraft and Jesus released me from the grips of Satanism. I receive this! It makes clear sense and I feel so blessed that I am chosen and God is calling me to practice the apostles doctrine and live accordingly.

Hargis Pennington, Blessings to you and to all of God's wonderful people! "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments." Psalm 133:1-2

While I agree with what you've stated in the general case, given the definition of the term 'denomination' (better, 'sect'), how is the UPCI not a "denomination"? As I read the scriptures in total, let alone Luke's second treatise (a.k.a., "The Book of the Acts of the Apostles") and Paul's epistles to Timothy and the Thessalonians, I don't see any scriptural warrant for the creation of an hierarchical structure beyond that of the local church under the authority of a bishop and elders with deacons (I'm using these terms in their strictly scriptural sense, not according to Catholic dogmas and traditions, be it Roman or Protestant). Do you have a video that already addresses this topic? If not, would you please prayerfully consider making one that does so? Thanks in advance.

I see the same issues with churches that use the phase nondenominational. “We just follow the Bible”. Well … those churches still take positions that would delineate themselves from others, aka a new denomination.

Matt.11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
The belief in the oneness of God comes only by revelation from Jesus. You have to take off the trinitarian glasses.

Does the church you preach at belong to a group (not quite sure the name but like how some Lutheran are ELCA)that would list the other Apostolic Churches in the USA?

Pastor, so do you believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all exist at this moment, or only the Holy Spirit?

So in Acts 7:55, when Stephen looked at Jesus standing at the right hand of God, Jesus was standing on the right hand of Himself? And you reject the definition that God is three in person, one in essence?

    • @NewLifeOfAlbanyGa
      @NewLifeOfAlbanyGa  3 года назад +3

Flesh and Spirit, besides the Jewish definition of right hand. See Revelation 3:20-21. Jesus is on the Throne. Your reading a Middle Eastern Book thru western eyes.

The KJV has italics where words were added and baptizing in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit was added. The original text says Jesus said go and make disciples, baptizing them in my name.

This is ridiculous. Because a specific word is not used in the Bible does not mean it is not biblical. The Trinitarian belief in the three persons of the Trinity was held by the Church fathers in the New Testament Church and by the Apostles. Reading the Epistles and Acts make that abundantly clear. Simplifying scripture to make it more easily understandable by us in our human frailty and imperfection does nothing but diminish the glory and fullness of God as a whole. Picking specific verses to support a point without recognizing and dealing with all the trinitarian scripture in the Bible is a terrible hermeneutic and misleading.

I don't have any denominational loyalties, so I agree with you there. I don't think I'm getting your teaching when it comes to the Father, the Son, & the Holy Ghost, though. The word Trinity isn't mentioned in the Bible, but the concept is there. Just like the word Rapture isn't mentioned in the bible, but is mentioned in other terms. Jesus was praying to the Father in the gospels, so are you saying the Father doesn't exist? Not trying to be arguementative. I just want to understand where you're coming from :)

It’s the Son praying to the Father. Humanity to Deity.

Brother, you are solid on a lot of areas but you are completely wrong and teaching heresy when it comes to your oneness theology. Jesus in Revelation 2 & 3 when addressing the various churches commends some of them in certain areas then some of the ones He commends in certain areas He then states, “but I have this one thing against you” or “I have a few things against you” then addresses the areas that are off and says repent. God is saying this to you now. God loves you and you are laboring for Him and teaching lots of areas correct but you have error in your teaching of the person of God which God counts as heresy to deny the triune nature and person of who He is. You are correct in seeing Jesus as God but the view you have actually denies The Father and places the Son in the place of The Father and The Holy Spirit and eliminates 2 persons of the Godhead and this teaching actually denies The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. As many as The Lord loves He rebukes and chastises. Judgement begins in the house of God before it begins in the nations. Repent! For the kingdom of God is at hand and every eye will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The Trinity is where, I disagree Again! Church history? I'm more concerned about what the Bible means by what it says.
I know alot of Apostalics who are in error as well Apostalics who left the Apostalic religion. And for good reason when truth is replaced by emotion and arrogance. As many as have bibles, as many are bound to be corrected.

Yes, the word trinity or any of it’s associated verbiage is nowhere located in Scripture, that is true. Scripture alone.

To be An Apostolic is to believe in the oneness of God and not the Trinity.
The Bible reveals that Jesus is the Father
    Jesus is the Son
    Jesus is the Holy Spirit.
The Bible never says God the Father, God the Son or God the Holy Spirit.
    Ephesians 4:5-6
    Colossians 2:9
