I Always Think The Sans On The Right Is The Genocide Sans, Because It Make Sense That He's Sad. Meanwhile On The Left Pacifist Sans Doesn't Need To Be Sad, He Has Nothing To Lost Unlike Genocide Sans Who Lost Everyone He Care.
Well it's more like the one on the left is genocide because he has no remorse left due to there being nothing left to care about. While the right one would be pacifist, considering the fact that he actually thought you were an amazing friend, and when he finds out what you did, he is severely disappointed.
I always thought it was the other way around. Though it was because of their eye colors. Yellow represents justice in Undertale, so the San’s on the left is handing out ‘justice’ to a human he knows is a murderer. While the San’s on the right retains the light blue eyes, which represent patience. Sans, as a character, is very reluctant to fight you. Only doing so when you absolutely push him to. So this could be interpreted as him now knowing what to do and biding time. Assuming this is the pacifist sans of course.
