    Comparing AG and Herro is wrong.. Because AG is the pivotal defender for Denver, and Herro's production is very well replicated by Heat role players.... Brown and KCP were great for Denver, but let's remember that Nuggets gentlemen swept the playoffs, and this was a dominant run... If for example they didn't have bruce, they would still be contwnders and probably won all those series, just by a game more... When Bruce Brown had to step up in game 4 it was because of Jokic foul teouble, which was instructed by the refs to keep Miami alive. Bruce is a great role player, hustler, defender,can score in different ways... But he is still a role player... In game 5 he couldn't hit the ocean with his shot...

    I agree that even with Herro playing Denver still wins the series due to their size advantages and the Jokic/Murray PnR game but to say Herro would have NO EFFECT on the series is disingenuous. Herro would be another player for the Heat that can get his own shot and stretch out the floor with his shooting, plus potentially putting more pressure on Jokic in the PnR if that’s him and Bam running it instead of Gab/Max and Bam.

  • @precision8763

    I don’t know the context behind Ticket saying this but he DID have the Heat to win in the finals, regardless of Herro being injured but now that Denver won, the Heat is just an 8th seed? The double standard is crazy.

    “Tyler herro couldn’t extend the series or win the heat another game” casual take as usual. Bruce brown won games, Braun won games, Rui won games, AR15 won games. You don’t need to be a Jokic level player to flip a game or series. In close games every player has a chance to steal or significantly impact a game. No matter wtf he’s done up to that point. Had huge scoring nights when it mattered and got timely steals and great defense/ hustle the whole run. Jeff green at this age and Christian Braun weren’t gonna be able to do what Bruce brown did. I think he cookied KD 4 times in a game and also completely took out heat roles players, Deangelo Russell etc.

    People are missing the fact that not only was Herro out, they were missing arguably their #1 one on one perimeter defender in Oladipo who also gives you 10 ppg. He also aint letting Brown go off in those games. The question should be if the Heat were fully healthy, could a Denver team missing Gordon and Brown win...thats the equivalent to what happened. The answer is no.

    • @patrickgramblin4316

      Gordon provides both elite defense and good offense as well. Brown is significantly better than Oladipo at this point in their career as well so idk how you came up with that dumbahh analogy. The heat made the finals without both of them so why couldn’t they get it done in the finals? Stop making excuses.

    • @jgip
      @jgip Год назад +1

      @@patrickgramblin4316 It don't matter how good you think they're, the fact is when healthy they're top 5 players on the Heat and avg 30 ppg between the two of them. Dipo may not be the same, but he is still a good defender and can occasionally give you points. What team is winning a chip with their 3rd and 4th/5th best player missing? If Denver had the same thing happen you would sing a different tune.

    • @jgip
      @jgip Год назад +1

      You're massively overstating Oladipo's importance. Tyler Herro's tho is fair... but then again, they reached the Finals with him only having 19 total minutes played in the playoffs so... yeah.

  • @hbks5299
    @hbks5299 Год назад

    Let’s be real, Vincent and Strus were utterly bad in shooting during the finals. They were picking up the “performance” that Herro would usually do during the other series, but when the lights were brightest they were no shows. They needed a bucket getter like Herro that would’ve at least made this series 6 games, I just don’t think they win this series cause they’re too tiny in comparison but the series would be more competitive for sure instead of the blowouts we got during game 3 and 4.
