Pierre says hi! 👋🏽 Hahah yeah, a little window into our regular lives! Normal people eating normal foods 😅 Were their favorite foods what you expect? Or did anything take you by surprise?
As a finn I must say grilled sausages and those, especially finnish, small fresh potatoes in the early summer are just amazing. It might sound weird to people from many other countries but something as simple as a good fresh potato combined with just salt and butter is for me at least better than any type of candy any day! The season for those in Finland is very short and we really love our fresh potatoes. Also the summer and grilling season is short and we have a huge variety of susages which are just to die for. I'm not even gonna start with the pickled herring (especially in mustard sauce) which we love to eat with the potatoes as well. 😅
Scandinavian food! 😍 The Färskpotatis season just ended here for us, so sad! 😋 Can't wait for next year! Have you guys had good BBQ weather over in Finland, here in northern Sweden it hasn't been super warm.
Fun video. Avs fan here. Miss Pierre tons. Great to see him. Here’s a bit of technical advice, audio is more important than video when filming. Watching this with CC helps catch what everyone is saying but that doesn’t always work perfectly. Since you’re doing a single still shot in a group setting consider purchasing a quality omnidirectional microphone you can place in the center of the group and you will get clean audio that doesn’t sound hollow. It will make your audio sound professional but more importantly clear and audible. Hope that helps. DM me if you need any specific help.

My family was big big big Nordiques fans, i’m born in 1995, so I grew up with Sakic, Forsberg, Foote with the Avalanche uniform. I never stop following the team, i’m there every time they come in Montreal, sometime Ottawa. I remember december 2019 P-E wearing the A on his jersey!

Loved your surprise when he said he liked the wine! I'm not much of an enjoyer of wine, so maybe I'll have to look into that! My favorite food is 'ota'ika a raw fish dish served with coconut cream. I was introduced to it while living in Tonga, but a variation is also common in Samoa and, I assume, other Pacific Island countries.
Hahah i’ve been trying to find a wine that he would like for 15 years! 😂 Finally found something! You should definitely try it, it’s great with all types of desserts! Tokaji Aszu, buy one that says at least 5 puttunyos! 😁

Spicy Lobster...Lobster Fra Diavolo. It's the good stuff and my nonno (grandfather) made it extra spicy. It was great to see Moose and Nate in bromance mode.

Best dish in the world is Singapore pepper crab. If you ever go to Singapore it’s a must must have. There are another dozen dishes in Singapore that are amazing as well. Singers is a true foodie paradise.

I loved watching your video. Very informational and fun to see. My favorite food is homemade pasta with alfredo sauce, I have been playing with my alfredo recipe to make it exactly what I like. After I learned to make homemade pasta, I have a difficult time going back to the box noodles. I have been experimenting with adding thin sliced asparagus, fresh cracked black pepper and a little powdered lemon zest into the pasta and it is out of this world with the alfredo and some grilled shrimp.
@wendirodewals2676 That's SO crazy! That's exactly what Pierre makes me for my birthday every year!!! He created that dish for my birthday like 10 years ago because I LOVE lemon zest & asparagus, and alfredo is my absolut favorite! Sometimes the shrimp are part of the starter, and sometimes with the pasta. Exactly like yours! 😃 AMAZING!

@@Akuvision2011 based on my experience with Swedes, they also have problems on pronouncing Finnish names, so that doesn’t explain anything. Have you tried to pronounce some names in Estonian for example and get them accurate?

Yes, this was last season in Tampa. The guys featured in the cookbook are only in the same city as Pierre and I 1-2 evenings per year 😅 So in order to test all the recipes with the guys we’ve been working on the book for a little over a year now! 😊
