    Ironbark is tough to but white box would be the toughest. That’s why it makes good posts

    Try to do that with some York gum you’ll brake your axe handle. 30 tone hydraulic log splitter might split it.

    That's ugly looking wood,but it helps if you only use half the head which doubles your impact mate .
    Good to see he didn't let it beat him tho ,
    My dad told me wen I was about his age that the biggest muscle in your body wen splitting wood is your eyes.

    humble opinion, should used a maul axe and sharpened the axe, right tool for the right job

      @@spencertarlinton569 yes quite often have split some and is very close to the hardness of this gum people say yellow box is the hardest and I recon that some gum tops it

    Iron bark is piss easy in comparison to that, it’s as hard as the box on my block I reckon, needs a block splitter really

      Definitely need a splitter would take a insane amount of energy to get that pile split by hand
