That's ugly looking wood, but it helps if you only use half the head which doubles your impact mate . Good to see he didn't let it beat him tho , My dad told me wen I was about his age that the biggest muscle in your body wen splitting wood is your eyes. Keep it up mate enjoying your videos
@@spencertarlinton569 yes quite often have split some and is very close to the hardness of this gum people say yellow box is the hardest and I recon that some gum tops it
Great job 💪😎👍
Yup, it's no joke. Also nice to see a young fella not frightened of work.
Ironbark is tough to but white box would be the toughest. That’s why it makes good posts
Try to do that with some York gum you’ll brake your axe handle. 30 tone hydraulic log splitter might split it.
Eucalypt, the timber that says 'come over ere if you think ur ard enough '😂
🤣 that’s right
One of the hardest in the world 🙋♂️
Definitely!
How old is the young fella? 😊👍
Just turned 17👍🏻

Ahaha that’s a good one, doesn’t take much and you can be of to hospital with a axe, but all worth the fun,
Thanks for watching😃
can anyone say log splitter?
We are going to get one, one day for the amount of timber we have
humble opinion, should used a maul axe and sharpened the axe, right tool for the right job
The Axe is sharp the maul is just a different animal amazing difference a bit of weight does
What type wood are cutting
Gum but very dry and knotty
@@AussieBucking do you blokes cut much yellow box

Iron bark is piss easy in comparison to that, it’s as hard as the box on my block I reckon, needs a block splitter really
Definitely need a splitter would take a insane amount of energy to get that pile split by hand
You need a hydraulic splitter
Sure do mate worst part is getting the money to afford one
Thanks for watching!
@@AussieBucking well I’m not sure how I got to your page but I’ll keep watching if you keep making content
@@cincyjohn69 Thankyou any support helps us a lot small channel trying to grow
Get it off the groung and put it on a block of wood
Yes,
Ya this reminds me of some knotty red oak I've split, nasty job
Sure not fun wouldnt like to split the whole lot by hand.
Thanks for watching!
I hope it burns well?
We will try it out next year I recon it would burn all night most of our timber does
