- Sooo this piece is one that I played in high school. I've loved it ever since the first time I heard it. There was just one thing... I never got to play the cello solo. So what do I do? I record the solo and orchestra myself, of course!! Lol! Here's the beginning to Idylls of Pegasus by Richard Meyer.

God this brings back so many memories of my high school days. I absolutely love this song. I gasped out loud and straight up choked up once I realized what I was hearing. Thank you. This is so beautifully performed.
Ah, I remember playing this in middle school. Always felt so cool playing the part at 1:05 on viola, finally a chance to be heard!

What I like about this guy is he doesn't shit on his own video. There are a lot of talented musicians who are creating beautiful arrangements and performances, but most of them feel it necessary to promote their products or include narcissistic intros and outros of them speaking before the last notes fades out which ruins the whole performance. We are not after all there to hear them speak about their schedule and other shit -- we're there to listen to the music and only the music. Kudos to this gentlemen for creating these pristine music videos.
