So much on the internet is garbage, but what a treat it is to watch and listen to a man like Steve Rude draw and talk.

Wow, that is astounding. I've long admired the old masters of pen and ink but haven't quite been able to get my head around how they did it. It's such a treat to see someone demonstrate the process. Thanks!

So fun to watch. I held my breath with every stroke at points, hoping there would be no mistake unfixable. Ink is terrifying to this pencil drawer. But I have started penning my drawings recently. Cheap inking. Lol. Glad I found you

Have always had a great love for pen and ink. Started doing it in the 80s. I think Charles Russel was what impressed me to start.

Have you tried tire paint? The paint they use for lettering and white walls on tires? Or try Radda Paint if there's a store in your area. They're the best for house paints for coverage because they put double the pigment in their house paints that other companies do. They might do the same for paint pens.

It would have been appropo to have used an actual quill pen. Very nice study.

These videos are interesting and informative enough just with Steve's voice and instruction, so you might consider not adding music. The music distracts and is unnecessary.

I'll definitely take that into consideration for future videos. Sometimes music can be a nice addition, but it's important to make sure it doesn't detract from the content.
I appreciate your feedback. Thank you for watching!
