- how to completely deactivate traction control on chevys this works on my 08 chevy tahoe so it should work for most similar years including silverados tahoes suburbans and similar models
Homeboy knows we getting made fun of 😂
If you have a 2006 gmc sierra, take out the tvs and abs, my truck has headers, cold air intake, and a tune and it rips like crazy
Do you know if you could do this with a Chevy avalanche 1500 2005
Same for 06 Chevy wt 2wd
A tune?
Wdym tvs

Awready I appreciate ya homie 💯, por si me dicen no quema I’ll show them que si 😂
So which abs fuse are you removing just 1? Is it #9,#59, or #61
(ABS) must stand for “ a brake stance” 😂😂👌🏾
This needs more likes😂
I put a remote fuse holder and fuse taps and ran wires from one into the dash to a hidden toggle switch then you don’t have to pull the fuse you can flip the switch and light them up. Just be sure you put your remote fuse holder on the hot side in the fuse plug Then to the dash to your toggle switch and then back to the other side of the fuse socket. This way if something was to go wrong with the abs or one of your wires gets grounded out the fuse would still function as it should and not damage anything. I also did this on a little Ford transit connect so the stupid thing would go in the snow. The traction control was so bad it would completely cut the throttle every time a tire slipped and I couldn’t get a run and go to get up hills. Works great!
Oh hell yea thats a clever idea never really thought of it that way basically your creating your own traction control switch 🤔
@@hjttjh Well, you basically just remove the fuse tap the fuse location put a fuse of the same writing in the line anywhere’s close to the fuse box run the loop in through the dash and put a switch in line
Shawn, great mod. I'm going to do it.
Thanks.
@@hjttjh dont need one, if you dont know what he talkin about dont attemp, just pull the fuse ya plebb
What about for 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500
Clamp the rear brake line
What about my 2002 chevy tahoe 5.3 it won't do a burnout I've tried only when I'm turning and punch it never does it when I want it to
Same 😂😂😂
Mine 01 5.3 Chevy Silverado wouldn’t do a burnout gas brake just won’t spin em at all and it’s a 4x4 Should I take the fuse out
if i remove the fuse does it affect the AWD?
I'm sure it does. Probably not a good idea on AWD as all those systems work together to determine what wheel gets what power.
By pressing the “traction control” button for another 5 seconds, you can save yourself 20% on your next traffic citation at your local WalMart store!😂. GTFOH fool....
where’s the button tho?
lifesaver! was stuck in mud last night and couldn’t get out because of traction control. I was so pissed and then watched this video and i got out with ease once i took the fuse out

If you want the lights to go off, put it back. But if you dont care, send it.
Do you have to put the fulls back on
yes, when you done offroading or doing donuts, just put the fuse back on to where it was
Im gonna try this on my 15 Silverado for my gender reveal cool video bro thank u
How do I get mine to do a burnout mine is a 2002 Tahoe
Facts I need to know to
Doesn’t work in 03 5.3 Tahoe I get all the dash lights but no burnout 😢🥺I wanna do fun stuff too!!!!
Turn off trac and stabilize first, press trac button (1 time) to turn of trac control, press and hold for 5+ sec to turn of stability, then proceed to remove fuse
No trac control buttons, 🤔just 4x4 pannel
My tahoe still doesn’t burnout ....
Fuhh what kinda of tires u got?
Torque management needs changed in the computer.
I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 classic, which fuse would I have to pull to fully deactivate traction control
PS. All I could find was ABS 60 can someone tell if that’s the right one
Abs fuse, should only be one? If it were me thats what id do, recommend looking into it or just send it🤙😂
Yes it’s just the ABS FUSE
My 4.3 burns out/peels out with traction control on image with it off 😭
I tried to take the abs control of from the hook fuse box but I didn’t find it , I have a 2021 Silverado trail boss , can you help
I’m really not familiar with the new new models I know the newer they are the more restricted they are with burnouts and ect but lemme research on them and I’ll let you know if I find any useful info
Stabilitrak be giving me a lot of problems
Yea bro have u removed the fuse itself doe ?
Mines too
Anybody know the exact fuse for the 99-02 Silverado’s ?
No
Fuse labeled Abs 2
2005 silverado doesn’t have the traction control button if I remove the fuse would it work?
I don’t think it will because it doesn’t come equipped with the traction control or stabilatrac
Tried still doesn’t want to do a burnout thinks there’s something wrong with my truck 😂
It just depends it can be the gearing too trucks have different gearing

Uhh yeah I'll be doing this
Hey I wonder if you can permanently leave the fuse off like that not for burnouts just to stop having tranction control problem or stability control problems
Wondering tha same thing, have u tried it?
It might be dangerous to drive it like that
I’ve been driving like that since I got it and only problem is the dash lights never go away but I just recently put the fuse back cause I’m in the city now
I got a 2005 5.3 tahoe stock and won’t do a brake stand would I need to take out the ABS fuse or just a tune
Look for an ABS fuse under the hood remove it and give it a try if it works then bingo but if not then a tuner might just be enough to do the job just make sure the tuner matches your vehicles specs
Si Chema cuh!
I really like that it was very helpful
Then you don't have to take the fuse out the fuses in line when he hit the switch. So you leave the switch on 247. And when you burn out you're from the switch off
can you drive it on a everyday basis not abusing it ? with out the fuse in
Yes sir
It’s works for 08 Chevy 5.3, but now I need a new rear axel🤦🏼♂️
Lmaoo 🤣🤣
Will this work with an 03?
Stabiltrak and traction control keeps coming on I have an 07 Chevy Tahoe , if I take the fuse out will this help me out ?
Taking the fuse out will solve that problem
My stabiltrak messed up on me again then I remembered this video & took the fuse out I just drove it home cause all the lights were on I didn’t know if I took out the fuse if it would permanently damage my stabiltrak and traction control cause those have been giving me hella problems so idk if I can drive without that fuse forever lmao

On most car I buy I pull the abs fuse bc it give better braking , better performance and driving control. No down shift or up shift from computers interruption once u pull the fuse.
Do you ride with it daily without the fuse ?
@@nate3633 yes, I have a fusion that I run without the abs fuse bc they have brakes problem and brake normal and perform fast.....brakes works perfect without abs fuse its just allow u to stop quicker ......with abs in control the car will stop base on the abs module
Now this here is a smart guy. Wait till a wet day and bye bye fusion.
@@mgmcgregorross69 lol I know it's not the best thing to do for wet condition once u drive legal speed and drive smart in wet condition your good with or without abs , I had a Corolla 2001 which don't doesn't have abs was scary when brake in wet condition I almost slide in a other vehicle but once u know your vehicle u should be safe... One more question how did u find it easiest to change spark plug 8 did u remove the tire and reach in
You need a flexible ratchet extension bro .
I never have to take the wheels off .
I have a 2008 gmc sierra 1500
2000 gmc sierra 2500
And a 2006 yukon Denali I always do it my self
My 13 gmc I just put a plug socket on the plug then used a short 3/4 socket no extension and easily removed it from the top, just be careful putting the plug in, make sure you can spin it in by hand at least a few turns before you put a wrench to it. Easy to cross thread
Same for a 2000 Tahoe??? Lmk
