As a veteran, I was blown away by this movie. They did a perfect job showing the reality of how the world was and still is regarding the differences in lifestyle and beliefs. Very few movies I feel really capture the honest truth of both worlds and how they both, through what began as a fraudulent act, learned to understand each other and build a truly loving relationship. I understand and respect both viewpoints this film was portraying. I remember very similar, almost exact reactions that occurred in the beginning. So many times movies over exaggerate one view more than the other but not this one. I know after being deployed, I have a deep respect for Cassie's views and love that she learned to respect his. She found that grey are between both worlds. Excellent job by both producers in this film. I've watched it multiple times and even shed tears during some of the more familiar aspects of "Come Back Home" I feel the part 2 film possibly in the works could have an even more real life representation of post war effects on someone who went through the trauma Luke did. I really hope they have a great military liason that will accurately guide them through that part of its the way part of the movie will spin. PTSD is real for so many and depicted so wrong in so many movies and TV shows.
I am obsessed with Purple Hearts!! This movie was very beautiful, my favorite character was Cassie deffinetly! She's beautiful and she's not afraid to say what's on her mind, just like me! And It's hard to choose just one song, but I would say that two of my favorites are Come Back Home and I Hate The Way! Thanks for making this video!!
Love both Cassie and Luke, they complimented each other so well. My favourite song is 'I didn't know'. I'm currently obsessed with the soundtrack, all the songs are so great though. But definitely 'I didn't know' is my favourite.

it is legally a fraudulent marriage but he wouldn’t have gone to jail in real life. my cousin just got out of the army and he said he knew at least 5 ppl who were in marriages of convenience for extra money. the most they do is make you pay back all the money the government gave you.

I'm happy they are showing a life of diabetic, but some was exaggerated in one scene but it should be shown and talked about more but rationing insulin is a sad and scary thing, and the price is outrageous and I'm happy they touched on that because it shouldn't be like that for someone who needs it to live my daughter is td1 and that scares me
