- Growing your own food is very fulfilling. Know what is in your food keeps your mind at peace, we should all try growing something regardless of our space, you can start with a container then progress.
Hello family, you are all very welcome here.
If you are here for the first time, I am Sarah Pedun. In today's video, I am going to share with you a very beautiful, producing garden in an urban setting.
I hope you enjoy the video.
Kind regards.
Like it is green zone. Thanks for share with us
Thank you so much for watching
I love what you do. Its full of love and passion. Thank you.
Thank you, I'm happy we share the same passion.
I love your sister's garden, so neat and tidy. She used up every little space to plant. Amazing
Thank you so much for the kind remarks.
I wouldn't call this garden "small".
I love how neat snd orderly it is. Lovely.
Thank you for the kind remarks and for watching
Beautiful garden and so neat🎉
I can never get enough fresh basil 😊. If we have too much to eat, sometimes we blend it up in a food processor and make green mayonnaise. Oil flavored with it… ummm I could go on. The marigold is good to keep bugs away. Hello to loyce when you see her Sara 👍🙏🏻
I should learn more ways of using Basil, this sounds delicious. Thanks for your continues support, I do appreciate.
@@sarahpedun8769 I stopped buying store bought mayonnaise or other things that use soybean oil. Commercial grade seed oils are genetically modified and have only industrial regulations on the pesticides used. So we end up making everything from scratch or going without until then. My wife makes the mayonnaise so I don’t know the recipe, it’s not difficult except there’s no electricity in my little cabin so the generator has to be fired up etc etc. I’ll ask her recipe and pass it along
@@sarahpedun8769hello Sarah, I have a question about herbs readily available in Uganda . Poor little Marion on the village and beyond channel has a big swollen spot on her foot. I commented that she should give it hot saltwater baths, but I don’t know the herbs around there to use as poultice, tea, anti infection. If it was in northeastern America I could help but again I’m useless for my friends in the migpi district. They are probably walking right by some plants that would help.
I love you tube bcoz of ur lessons..
Thanks mamma 🙏👍💯

Beautifull.
Thank you
This is something I have experienced my self and also scientifically proved fact. Hope you will give it a try.
Whenever you're out in your Garden, ALWAYS be totally barefoot because our soles love and deserve that freedom. They love to feel various textures of soil between their toes. Apart from n it's very healthy to be barefoot outside.
Take for example two plants, one grown inside a pot and tge other grown in Nature. However much you water and use fertilizer, it never looks as healthy as the latter. This is simply because the roots have a limited space to stread and the Nurishment too is the same.
The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree. When you're not barefoot that natural process is obstructed. Our soles are designs to absorb things which are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, use of footwear deprives this process. Apart from that there are a large number of Sensors / Nerve endings on the soles of our feet, which connects from head to toe. When we walk on Sand, Gravel and Tiny Stones /Pebbles,our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. Once again Footwear deprives this natural process.
So, go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles
Is there any chance your sister can share some veggies with me
I also stay in Kampala ❤
Ha! Let me send her this message
Hello Sarah how best can I prevent fruit flies from biting my cucumbers they have a bitter taste
I always wondered what fruit flies tasted like 🤭
Mine too is affected by this, I plant my cucumbers in different spots so I don't lose everything. Sorry I can't help.
Ha! Humor is good for our souls, thanks for making me smile
@@sarahpedun8769 it’s my honor🙏🏻. I’m usually the only one laughing at my jokes 😂
will you tag her page?
Oh yes I did, thank you
Good. I hope there is no GMO plants in her garden. It’s much better to grow naturally but not gmo.
Sometimes we buy seeds unaware. I hope soo too. Thank you for watching
