I love being hypnotized and transported into your nomadic world. I hope for a short period of my life I can find something like what you have. In the meantime, thanks for documenting it for us all.
Nathaniel, if you ever feel, or wonder if what you do and captured is even appreciated by anyone, I will be the first to put up my hand and say YES . Hundred times over - YES! You put a pause on my world with your videos and photography. What you do makes a huge impact in my life and I’m sure many others. I will keep on following and see nature through your videos.
You are definitely a unique person, with the capability of capturing nature's beauty in a very special and magical way, great video and be very happy at what your doing. Take care and always stay safe 🙏
I know videos take lots of effort and time with photographing and editing. I appreciate that you share this with us. I always feel like I want your channel to keep going when you’re winding it up. Thanks for sharing your story and work with us.
Little things like touching the cactus 1:22 adds a tactile element to the video that celebrates even the smallest gifts of nature - it's also the kind of thing I do when out in the hills and woods, so valued and enjoyed this moment in the re-watch. Funny how these little things resonate and have as big an impact as some of your more breathtaking shots of grand vistas such as of the Cascades last year. 👍
Great filming! Love those sunset scenes. Shades of the visionary coming through. Seamless folding from one scene to another. Shades of Bertolucci's Sheltering Sky. Ruminative!
Thank you Nathaniel for this beautiful film …. Incredible landscapes. The things you see, your manner of capturing them, those colours … just stunning. I’m new here … I like it that you have not posted for a while … other stories are unfolding. And I wonder when you will be back. Much appreciation for your work.
Hey Nat! Wonderful video, gosh the location(s) look fabulous (as well as your imaging, esp the drone footage). Nice to see you are well, and having fun. And thanks for the link to Mike's channel, will for sure check it out! Best, Paul
I travel a good bit in the desert, and I have LED flashing lights under my truck to repel rodents. I have them set up so they cast light down, not out. Very effective, low current draw, inexpensive. You can also buy such units that incorporate ultrasonic sound along with lights. You can barely hear it, but it might disturb dogs.
Nathaniel--truly some of the best photography on RUclips. Absolutely stunning. Crazy having to break camp for a tiny little rodent! Re. not having a shower regularly: I travel with a product called Epic Wipes which are, indeed, towel-sized, heavy-duty wet wipes. When I'm unable to use my shower setup (if it's too windy or dusty, say) these serve the purpose and really leave you feeling clean. (No, this is not an ad! LOL!) I can recommend them. Thanks for the great videos.
Your photography and videography are so personal and beautiful. The music definitely set the mood. I watched this twice because it brought me so much peace and tranquility. I wish I could be at these places in solitude.
Just watching this now but looks like another wonderful video! Just thinking have you ever seen Foresty Forest channel you'd like that I think? You probably have anyway 👍 will look at mike's. Have a great week 🙂
Great video Nathaniel, such exciting and Kool adventures you come across. Takes me a way from the day to day grind mentality for a split second and gives me serenity. Thank you.
Thank you for continuing to share your filming and compositions Nathaniel. I always look forward to every upload. Hey, as you were on that washboard road I must ask: Have you replaced the lower ball joints on your Tundra? These are a weak point of our beloved Toyotas. If not I hope you will confirm when they were replaced and that they were OEM Toyota parts. When they fail it can be quite dangerous and can ruin your fenders and side doors.
Love the storytelling and cinematic quality of your videos. My wife and I are hitting the road full-time in June and are looking for camping gear - what kind of camp chairs are those in this video?
Nathaniel, I really enjoy your travels and you seem like a like minded individual. Currently I am traveling and living out of my camper shell on my Toyota. At the moment I am in Arizona and enjoying desert season. Hope to meet you on the road someday and trade stories.
Again, sorry I’m late, but I love your editing style. You have such an eye for all things beautiful and it really, really makes these videos unlike anything else. I love this channel so much!
Great post as always, Nathaniel - so pleased to see you regularly showcasing your art and nature. Gets me out of my North London funk with its plastic parks. Love re-watching your posts especially Vlog 9 - steaming up the windows with the Couscous in a rainstorm. What day was that? 😄the Bigfoot's a big improvement, I think.
I like your videos but you post randomly. The people doing well post at least once a week. If you want to grow this channel you need to post more consistently.
