I wished I'd taken on a project in my youth, the skills that Ben has gained from this are so valuable and transferable. A truly great build Ben, I salute your determination and passion.
It’s called a Bakkie or a Ute in other parts of the world when I used to fly about the dirt roads of Southern Africa at about 100kph.. approx 60 Mph… loved these little cars hard as nails.. and never stopped going…❤
Lol I think you're looking for the word "Bakkie". Afrikaans for bowl/bucket. Nissan later made the 1400 champ, now discontinued. NP200 is now the new model. Ford made the Bantam, Opel made the Corsa Bakkie. VW the Caddy. Love what he has done to it. I grew up in and on a few of these. My grandad had a baby blue one with a tear drop canopy. The one we had was cream in colour and you could literally change the engine twice in one day. If I had spare cash I would make him a offer.
I have to say it's last pick up that I didn't think of ever seeing in your side of the pond but it's is a rather unique ride but with cult following yeah
Been eyeing a couple over here in Johannesburg, South Africa. Nissan made them well into the late 90s if not early 00's. With square lights and bigger front bumpers. One of the best selling nissans.
Don't stop taking it bro will always make a name for it as it's rare,280zx project with the truck pulling it along with your standards 😂👌. Amazing work you could start a shop easy bro 😎🙏👏
Congrats, really looks cool, I wish one day at least I can make the wngine swap on my 78, I been looking for ideas and yours is the one grab my attention from thousands, the design of paint is great, also the front leap amazing, can you please share same info, colors name, and where can I get the front leap, also brakes system. Thanks
