I feel naked posting a video without copious amounts of editing, but you know I watch Matt Colville's campaign diaries and he barely edits his so screw it we ball
Good stuff! It's great to see D&D players try out and enjoy Dungeon World. DW just gets shit done faster and in a more immersive way, IMO. Also, the mini-diary idea sounds great! Looking forward to seeing how this group progresses.
Very cool story. I loved it. Looking forward to more of more this story to come out in time. My players also love the "We only roll if we don't know what is going to happen." So speeds up the game 100x. I am still trying to work on my cinnamic fight scenes. I don't have them down to where I want them yet. Thanks for doing what you do!
Just gotta have concrete objective for them to follow along. I mention it a number of times in this video but the Battle of the Bastards from GoT really nails the epic battle scene
For what it's worth I like the less edited version better, I found a lot of the editing stuff previously a bit distracting (although I do love it when you have the person watching the video make comments). Also, great video, I'm hoping to start up a DCC thing soon with my friends, this is giving me the confidence to do that. 💪🧙🏻♂
Dont feel bad about the editing. The story is well told, I was interested. My wife holds a D&D 5e game for her friends that I recently joined. I run my own games she plays in as well where I've been introducing new games. Anyways im trying to get her to get her group to try new games and I wonder if dungeon world would be a good game for them to try since they love 5e.
Thanks Brady! I normally go pretty heavy on the editing so I feel naked without it😂 I would say it depends entirely on what they love about 5e. If they're fans of the more freeform storytelling aspects about it, they'd probably enjoy it! But if they're fans of rigid combat, probably not.
If they weren’t giving you the answers you were looking for as to why they adventure together, why didn’t you just write Bond Sentences for them to fill out?

“Let. The horse. DIE.”
Gold. Hahaha
Share more of this campaign, my dude.
Will do as we continue to play it!
Heck yeah, I want more of these videos.
I’ll keep ‘em coming as the campaign continues

It really does and so far I have a 100% conversion rate.
Thanks! Me too!

Your game session recaps are my favorite videos. I'm just letting you know.
Thanks! The reception of this one definitely makes me wanna keep it up for the duration of this campaign!

You can do it! And thanks for the feedback!

Great video. Just recently fell down the rabbit hole of DW and am finding your content very useful and entertaining!
Awesome! I'm glad it's both helping and entertaining!
Ayyyy! Thanks for the shout out, bud!

Thanks! Episode 2 is already out and I need to film episode 3 😅
Always love your videos and proud of your channel
Thanks!
Fun format, thanks
I recognize Watabou's city generator. I didn't know about Perilous Shores, because Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator didn't dirctly link to it.
I did a whole video on it! It's a fantastic tool and I kinda prefer it to Azgaar's. At least for adventure regions
I would definitely like more updates on this one.
This was great! More please!
I’ll keep you updated as we play!
how did I miss this video? GREAT!
Did you miss episode two too?
@@tabletopbro wait... what?
@@scafutto Your Plot Isn’t Real is the second episode of this series

Douche hat appearances will continue until morale improves😂
“SCUB-BLUB-A-BLUBA-LULULULU…” priceless!
Nice!

Yeah I should've just straight up told them what sort of premise I wanted to run. But you live and learn 🤷♂️
You did a great job exposing players of the ampersand game to Dungeon World. Keep it up! Thank you for your channel and your hard work.
