Makes us wonder how they ever worked with the old 650 and 750 Holmes trucks! The remote makes everything much more efficient and safe at the same time. And yes, the footage from the boom turned out awesome! 👍🏻
Thank you! We've been swapping out boxes and sprayers like this for years at the local Co-ops. Now they have their own overhead crane inside of their new shop, so we're mostly servicing the private farms now for this type of work.
We agree! Miller is not the only brand out there, so we love showcasing what some of the other competitor's equipment can do. It's hard to beat NRC's sliding rotator! Thank you for watching 👍🏻
That is actually the battery box. NRC Industries used to mount them in a compartment inside of the big tunnel tool box, but started mounting them on top like this shortly before we took delivery of this truck. I personally love it because it frees up more box space, and the batteries and all the wiring inside look as new as they did 5 years ago (weatherproof, no corrosion).
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying the videos! We're always trying to keep them to something viewers will find interesting. Im not 100% sure, but I think the tank/boom assembly weighs around 12-14k lbs. We have lifted all different sizes over the years and sometimes it's hard to keep track. Our new truck coming this summer will have a scale built in, so it will be nice know some of these weights going forward.
Oh man - Wilcox continuing to bust out the big guns with reaction thumbnails, watch out! On the path to RUclips Stardome. Straight to the moon from here!!!!
With the success of our last video, we felt it would be worthwhile to keep making the thumbnails a little more interesting and attention grabbing. Hopefully you feel that they are!
Man--that young man w/ the stocking cap on was a big help with the rigging.
The remote makes positioning a piece of equipment so much easier awesome job also like the view friom the boom! Catch you next time WG!

Like a glove!!!
Not that I have a problem with MIller iron, but it's good to see the competition once in a while. Nice looking truck. Great job.

How much did the tank and boom assembly weigh? Nice job! I’m a new subscriber. Like what I’ve seen so far! Thanks for the content and all that you do!

Plenty of fuel left.
