Did Kalhatty route last month first week adventuristic steep hair pin bends enjoyed lot with Ciaz Manual, max can slot 1st and 2 gears, had a chai in the middle of the up hill 😊

nice.. Since your car is automatic, how was the uphill drive? You had switched to manual mode in uphill or automatic only?
This TC automatic holds on to gear and upshifts after 2500 rpm in uphill. Downshift is also quick. So never had to use manual mode.

You know what.. We were not at all checked at KA - TN border. Perks of travelling with pets 😉😉
BTW you can only come back by the same route if you have some permit or something. We were getting down and there were like 8 hairpin bends left, there we were stopped at a checkpost and were told to go back and take the other route.
Lucky you were not checked. That’s a good input, will help others in planning.
Except TN 43 other vehicles are not allowed to down hill, no special permits.
