Restoration of the hegner scroll saw from scrap metal from 1997.
I had one hegner now the other for restoration.
It took me 10 days after work.
The machine does not vibrate after using rubber caps made of old rubber boots. I have replaced all the bearings. It works better than my 2016 Hegner. Spent $ 40-50 on everything needed for refurbishment. Bearings, new bolts, washers,
paint etc..
I am now wondering which Hegner to sell, because the 25-year-old works much better than the 6-year-old...
M aybe I'll leave two for myself.

Miałem jednego Hegnera, trafił się drugi do kompletnego remontu.
Zajęło mi to 10 dni po pracy.
Maszyna nie wibruje po zastosowaniu gumowych podkładek wyciętych ze starych kaloszy, akurat trafiłem kolorystycznie . Wymieniłem wszystkie łożyska, podkładki , śruby itd.. Działa lepiej niż mój Hegner z 2016 roku. Wydałem 40-50 $ na wszystko, co potrzebne do remontu. Łożyska, nowe śruby, podkładki,
farba itp.
Zastanawiam się teraz, którego Hegnera sprzedać, bo 25-latek pracuje dużo lepiej niż 6-latek...
Może dwa zostawię dla siebie.
Ewentualne, "POWAŻNE" propozycje rozważę.....

Excellent job. I did mine (1996) and disassembled the drive connector link bearings, cleaned and greased them. They were quite stiff with what remained of the original grease. There is a thin retaining circlip holding the bearing cover in place. I used a very small screwdriver and magnifying glass to remove the clip and the cover plate came right off. The replacement from Advanced Machinery is $49.00 plus shipping.
