- Shawn, Roman (and Maya), and I hit the trails to see if Roman's brand new FMS ROCHOBBY 1:10 Atlas 4x4 Off-Road Truck can do what a super capable Traxxas TRX-4 Sport can do, or my own SSD /SCX10ii. Note that Roman's Atlas has been modified with Pro Line shocks and JConcepts Fling King 1.9 tires in super soft "green" compound.

what? That atlas has aftermarket shocks I'm sure. The stock ones are all black and a smaller bore.
Thanks for the comment, bc. It's good that you mention it because I recall saying to the owner that he needed to do something about the lack of articulation (flex). This Atlas trucks was shipped directly from China before they were available in North America, so I suspect this might be why the shocks look different. I will check with the owner and get back to you. Cheers.
Turns out you are absolutely right about the shocks. Roman just informed me that he had already switched to Pro Line shocks by the time of filming -- something he forgot to mention. LOL. I wonder if the truck would have done better with the stock shocks, as his setup was way too stiff imo and there was not enough articulation. If you check this truck in subsequent videos, I still see a problem with articulation. I would want more. Thanks for eagle-eyed correction. ruclips.net/video/HSc11iAZPzw/видео.html
I painted and sold that flow orange TRX4 to Shawn 😁 nice to see it pop up in videos!
Cool! It's always fun to see one of your old trucks show up in a good home. Thanks for the comment.
As always love your videos, and your music!!!! Best time of year for our hobbies!!!!!
Thanks! Gotta admit, it's great to spend all day in the woods and not have to worry about dehydration, sunstroke, mosquitos, or getting lost in an Amazon-like jungle LOL. Not a fan of summer conditions, so I'm enjoying it while I can. Hope you are too, Mike.
I like the Atlas style and the big tires of the TRX gives it that “Stomper 4X4” look but best of all is the Comanche with it’s smaller tires leading the way! Well done sir!
Thank you so much. The Manchee just gets it done somehow. LOL. 👍👍
3 awesome trucks,brilliant trailing/crawling 😀👍👍👍👍
Thanks, rcpt. Funny how one old beat up but highly modified truck, one sorta new semi stock RTR, and a brand new truck can all trail together and do about the same. Gotta luv it.
Great video in a great landscape and very nice crawlers
💪
Thanks. We sure had a fun time on a great day. Keep your own videos coming, PTRC.
Awesome footage buddy 😁👍🙋♂️
Thanks, SW.
perfect driving and control mate...awesome trip and truck💪😎
keep going champ🏆
Good point. With three good drivers that day it was a fair comparison. Thanks for the comment and support gb.
@@NaturallyRC enjoy champ...you also welcome...😁
Can't wait for the fms fcx10
Should be a good one.
Hi,
Very nice Video, thumbs up from me!👍 💯
Greetings Seven🖖
Thanks for watching and commenting, SW.
👍20 Great video! I enjoyed watching your RC driving! Thanks a lot for sharing. 💕🌺🍀🇨🇦
Thanks, Monica. I so enjoy seeing smiling faces and hearing laughter in films where I'm trailing with friends. A fine day in the woods just lifts everyone's spirits -- as you are well aware!
Super cool appreciate the video, I just subscribed be following for more this is my passion I love it 👍👍😎
Thanks for the sub, ar7374! What type of RC videos do you enjoy watching the most?
What’s fun crawl!! Maya always photobombing lol. And how bout that creepy man in the cabin lol.
Maya had the best time of all -- running, leaping, diving. Hope she got a good bath when she got home. Phew. LOL. Highlight was when she impressively led us to that big beautiful (and huge) whitetail deer, who bounded away before we could get her on film. And...might have been a creepy old man -- might have been a beautiful young woman disguising her voice. Might have been a witch or a vampire! 😄
@@NaturallyRC haha oh yeah bath and treat and she was out. And yeah that deer was cool
I have looked at all the comments, yet no said anything about the golf ball in the back of the Jeep(Axail) What happened to it? after 5:03?
LOL. Must have fallen out when the Comanche was bumping over those rocks on the way over to the steep climb. It's funny that you mention it because one time when I was trailing with a friend I picked up a golf ball and dropped it into the back of his Cross RC EMO, which immediately quit working. Stopped dead right then and there with electronics problems. He always reminds me of this. Cheers and thanks for the comment. ps: There are two golf courses right nearby, but it still takes a mighty good slice to wind up where we trail.
"Pit Bull" (7:42) climb every hill ha ha!
They're good tires for sure.
