I just ordered one of these in blue and got a free fms magnum truck with it!! If I sell the free magnum truck to a buddy, I basically paid $140 for this truck. Thats a great deal at FMS right now!!
That's a very capable crawler. It looks larger than a 1/10th scale. I'm pretty excited to see what you are bringing to the channel. Congratulations on the partnership. Great video. 👍
Thank you, they're a great Trail rig for sure, only thing I've done to mine so far is upgraded the ESC and I didn't even really need to I just wanted to smoother low in control, have you seen the K5 they just came out with, it's pretty sweet mine should be here tomorrow I'll be posting videos about it for sure
Very nice indeed congrats on the partnership 💪. I think I might have an idea on what's coming 😁! Very nice review Taylor 👌 Absolutely beautiful rig It's a lot of RC for the price very well priced ! Awsome control 💪 the crawler course is looking pretty cool 😎 nice work
Nice!!! But sad that FMS doesn't ad LED lights on the rear. Also I would have liked functional open doors like the FMS FJ40 1/10 toyota truck. Also weathered version 😢😮
@SteadfastRC I have the blue, and I'm kinda regretting not getting one of the other colors.. the red one could be sanded and lightly painted matte black so that scuffs and scratches show through kind of like rust. And the yellow one accepts a weathered finish so well. I'm not sure what to do with this blue one ive got..
@@JP-qq2kn Paint that sucker up, I'm sure you'll like it more than you do right now. I'm pretty glad I went with the yellow. I'll paint it later down the line once it's beat up.
@YoReaper1 I will, but leaning more towards a cleaner "nice truck" look instead of the weathered look. I'm not too sure yet. But rest assured, it'll look badass in no time.
Esc is waterproof as it is a hobbywing 1060. Not sure about the receiver, probably not but you could take it apart and conformal coat the circuit board.
First video I saw on this I noticed the depth of the bed,saw a video where the battery was placed in the box and the spare was the 'battery strap'. Did I see wrong - looked like the hitch was that or nothing.. not a square one.
The normal battery location is under the body like you would expect, but yeah you could carry a spare in the bed for sure. Also yes the hitch is hexagon shaped mounting. Thanks for watching and thanks for the questions. Let me know if I can help further.
anyone know what battery to use in this truck. i bought the truck on the fathers day deal that FMS has going. ordered the battery they recommended and it wont fit in the area where the battery goes.
Nice video!
Thank you, much more FMS and hobby plus content in the works!

Brother, nice video! And super congrats on the partnership! Excited to see where you take it!
Thanks Quinn, I am super excited too but trying not to count my eggs before they hatch.
@@SteadfastRC It's gonna be great!
Nice review and the test went good to are the bearings sealed I noticed on the jimny they looked not sealed either way its a great price on this truck
Thanks man! I was just assuming they were shielded bearings but I should take a look.
Super clean look I really want one that's my fav look

That thing looks so nice!

I'm torn between the yellow and the blue but honestly leaning towards the yellow, it just pops really nice. Good video, bro
Thanks a lot for watching I appreciate it, yeah I'm partial toward the yellow as well, especially since I already have the yellow 24th scale version

Great vid the lights in front bumper do they have spot for bulb or just fo show
I'm really liking this truck. My main concern is the waterproofing. How waterproof is the electronics?
Also good review on this. Thank you

Not sure yet checking before I purchase it
Looks nice for sure
Thanks Phil!
I've been thinking of getting one of these .I'd like to know how it dose around water
They are reasonably waterproof, I probably wouldn't save fully waterproof but you should be okay within reason, they're great rigs I really like them

I have not taken it apart to look but fms says full metal gears.
