what is the white plastic piece you put on top of the bracket before you slid in the drawer? it didn't come with my package ;/ if i were to check with them, what's the article number please/ name? you showing it at 9:16 mins in your video. thank you!! hopefully you can help me
The long piece that covered the rail mechanism? No idea what it's called. It's been a couple years since we did this and Ikea might have changed what's packaged. But it was something that was part of what was in the box. Hope this helps
Thanks for this! My instructions were in reverse (assemble the slider and pop the drawer on top) and didn't have an option for my kind of catch. Seeing it this way helped me work out what order to do it in. Cheers
Great video but I'm struggling with that small metal bar and the plastic lock. I fit the drawers in to the rails and they sit nice and flush but when I put those bars in I can't seem to get them to quite sit level. Any ideas?
Hi, in this video ruclips.net/video/TsrLcLEO8Ac/видео.html At about th3 4min11sec mark, you will find where we use these drawers inside a printer cart. 😁
Hi. Thank you! This really simplified putting these drawers together. My only issue was my bottom piece did not fit properly. That said it threw the rest of the pieces out of alignment. I 👀 kept going not realizing that those white plastic cap screws cannot be removed without damaging them. Had I realized that I would have stopped in my tracks! Now I'm trying to get the bottom piece in correctly with the side boards already in place.🤯 I think I received a damaged bottom piece.🤦♀️ Your tutorial was very helpful regardless.
Hey - thanks for your question! In this video, we focused on the assembly of the drawers, not the installation of them. If you have an IKEA wardrobe, the holes should be pre-drilled in it, making installing the rails and drawers a breeze. As we mentioned at the beginning of this video, we used these in some custom cart builds. The printer cart video is available here: ruclips.net/video/TsrLcLEO8Ac/видео.html
We hear about Ikea often but we dont have a store here in Hawaii so I am not sure if they are actually good or not. That being said, you two did a wonderful job on this video. Very informative but you are also stepping up the video quality... big time!
That’s so kind of you to say!! Thanks for watching. IKEA stuff ranges in quality. These drawers were right on the money for what we needed for our carts - sturdy, soft close, and spacious. 😀
Is it weird that I have never owned an Ikea item at all? In all fairness I’ve never lived that close to one lol great instructions though, I have trouble reading most instructions for stuff like this.
It’s not weird - their shipping isn’t the best, so proximity to one is prob how most people shop. But yeah - IKEA instructions are notorious for being hard to understand - no words, just pictures. 🙃
Ha. That’s not untrue. BUT, they do have some things made out of real wood these days. We decided to use these drawers in our wooden printer and Cricut cart builds, as it was quicker and more cost efficient than building the drawers ourselves and buying soft close rails separately. 😉
Without this video I would've never figured out what to do with the plastic thingy at the end
Ha! We're glad we could help. :)

Only thing to check is that metal bar. It has a little bump in the middle. That bump goes into the drawer, not out. Hope this helps
Do you have the code number for the runner covers? They don’t come with the drawers anymore and I’m looking for them in spare parts??
I don't think we do. Those instructions are long gone. Sorry.
Really helpful thank you 😅
Thank you!😁
We're glad it's helpful! Thanks for watching.
This has helped so much
Fantastic! Ikea can be so frustrating
You left out the part where you fit the rails onto the inner sides of the cabinet/wardrobe?

Haven’t built anything from ikea in a while, this brings back a lot of memories. Not all of them good 😂
Ha! Thanks for watching. 😉
But how do you attach it to the wardrobe ? Forgot this part.

Thanks for sharing (and bringing back memories from my kitchen build🤣🤣)
😂 Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching. 😉
Nice guide! And about Ikea... Altough I make things myself from scratch like you, I still sometimes buy from Ikea, as a quick solution 😉
Glad you like it! A little efficiency goes a long way in DIYing for sure.
Wait . . . wait slow down I sat on part B and lost my screwdriver. Thank you this was really helpful
Ha! We’re glad it was helpful. 😄
Thank you so much! I could not for the life of me figure out those last four pieces. Your video helped so much!
Oh yay! We love hearing that. Glad it’s helpful!

IKEA is good for only a few things & one of them is some designs you copy & make from real wood lol

It's not that type of channel... 😉👍
Hehehe 😂😉🤭
