- ICE targeted multiple locations Wednesday across the Denver metro area including in Aurora, Denver, Thornton and Arapahoe County, but it's not yet clear how many people were detained or arrested.
According to a social media post from Enforcement and Removal Operations, about 100 people were being targeted and they were "violent" members of the Tren de Aragua. No information was provided on how it was determined they were involved with the Venezuelan gang.

MISINFORMATION ALERT:
* This report didn't say the word illegal and it fails to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants.
* The fear-mongering in this report omits that ICE and DEA agents were targeting illegal immigrants with criminal records.
* It ignores the fact that sanctuary cities refuse to notify ICE when a criminal is in jail, instead releasing them back into the community-making their apprehension more dangerous for both officers and the public.
* It doesn't mention that in the last 4 years, more than 10 million illegal immigrants have entered the country, and there are more than 700,000 who have committed crimes (excluding the illegal border crossing) while here.
* It does mention that even if ICE deports 1,000 illegal immigrant criminals per day, it would take more than 2 years to get all 700,000. And that assumes the Mexican cartels stop pushing drug dealers and gang members across the border which they will not, since it is their primary source of income.
* It ignores the fact sanctuary cities by not letting ICE get criminals from city jails put other illegal immigrants and the entire community at risk.
* Sanctuary cities ironically will be the place where "collateral" captures of illegal immigrants who haven't broken the law (excluding the illegal border crossing and paying the Mexican cartel) happen most.
* It should be noted that the politicians of sanctuary cities would rather keep criminals in their community and make everyone else cannon fodder so they stoke the emotions of uninformed left-leaning voters with the help of complicit media like this one that doesn’t give all the facts.
* It fails to mention any link between the open border, allowing the Mexican cartels to push fentanyl into our city streets, and the increased lawlessness in the city.
