We should be investing more money in other countries in central and south america to have less dependency on mexico of trade goods, mexico has been a horrible business partner, look what they doing to us at the border, they have also allowed china to use them as a back door for their products

This has been an issue for more than 4 years, the open border did make it worse, but America has been trying for decades to deal with cartels, just as we have been trying to deal with the gangs here in the USA. Both countries need stronger punishment for gangs.

you know i lived in the US illegally from 12 to 24 (2000-2012) and no one had an issue with us because we worked or went to school or both, payed taxes since most of us had a tax ID and we actually contributed to the community, I believe the main issue was when the swarm of people starting crossing straight from central america, through Mexico into the US...
