The other advantage that the M107 175mm arty gets from the long range, besides low dispersion, is the very fast flight time of the round. At long ranges the rounds will actually get there before some of the shorter range fast aiming arty. If you do the pre-aiming strat where you target position and select hold fire, the rounds will get there extremely fast when you turn off hold fire. This is very good for counter battery for example, where you pre-aim the artillery firing position, and if he fires from the same spot again you've got him dead to rights. In general the 175mm is good for counter battery and firing on AA.
Well that hurt to watch. Blue had it on the bag and just threw it by repeatedly attacking with unsupported armour. Well done to red for not giving up and just grinding out the win.

Legion tried to do this to me on Black Forest and it was definitely a shock tactic at first but he didn't really reinforce zone Delta with any infantry so he eventually just got pushed out slowly out of most of the zones. Seems to be having the same issues here. It's a really funny way to waste 40 mins of your opponent's time hahahaha.
It was a fun match, but man was it annoying seeing him ignore a CV in enemy spawn that could have moved somewhere, leaving a blob to get supressed, ignoring his CVs low fuel icon and then having it run out. He should have concentrated on one side after he got into spawn (And arranged them in an L shaped ambush and spread out) so he could open a resupply route to his back forces and then just swept across the map from his spawn and from the flank.
