River to River Trail | Thru-Hike | Day 5

This is a documentary of my first solo thru-hike attempt of the River to River Trail through Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. On day five, I start near Gum Springs Road and hike across Max Creek and under I-24. Then, I hike past Dutchman Lake and make camp in Ferne Clyffe State Park at the backpacker's campsite.
