Well done. Used to hike all over the Shawnee back in the day. Watching this brings back a lot of memories. Good for the soul.

Beautifully completed video and you paired up such perfect music for the audio! I was there in December and it was fun to see it all again. Such neat places to visit without the crowds. Weather was perfect too in December only requiring sweatshirts and light gloves!

I stayed at Redbud Campground recently. Such great trails and a peaceful campground. Bell Smith Spring is worth the long drive. Great video.

Wonderfully done. From the editing, the video shot, the commentary, and even admitting to some gaffes (that just added to the charm). It all adds up to a great experience. Thanks for sharing and giving my family and I a preview for an upcoming visit there.

This is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I was on the ride with you, and that's exactly the way for me to do it, from the safety of my desk chair.

I just showed up. There was a box at the entrance where you drop your fee. I had to ask someone. It wasn’t very clear. First come first serve when I got there.

How are the restroom situations? Mosquitoes are plenty? Very relaxing video. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Rei! I was not bothered by mosquitoes during my trip in November. I would imagine it would be a different story in the summer. They have vault restroom facilities at the Bell Smith Campground.

@@tfscott1 thanks for the update. BTW, love the Channel name. Speaks about me in the Beginning aaaand slightly correct at the end. It's work to get Active.
Been contemplating about creating COVID-19 a Virtual Walking Channel to get me out and active. I'm trying. Just prefer Fall and Winter vs this heat we're getting in late July.
Keep the Channel going and Stay Safe.

Used to go to Bell Smith when I was a teen-ager long ago. Be very careful of the cliff faces. Had a friend who fell off the cliffs in the dark. Snaky as hell. That whole area down there is snaky. Garden of the Gods, Pounds Hollow lake, (aka Snake lake). Just be careful where you put your hands. There are some pit vipers around but mostly water snakes. Beautiful area though. Very primitive and peaceful place.
