I just ordered my auger drive and stump planer bit for my Bobcat e42 excavator from y’all. So looking forward to getting it put on. Already have a job lined up to plane and or dig out 30 or so stumps. 🙌

This is a brand new auger series that just came out. The EP has been around for a while with the gray housing, but now we have our own Planetary gearbox and made some other changes. We changed the color to black to highlight the changes.

I just ordered a 10/0 unit for my massey 4707. The dealer recommended ths as the 4707 rated at 17.6gpm flow. We have quite abit of loose rock, so now im thiking the 15/30 may be a better choice. Would the torque between the 2units be noticable at that flow rate?
Keep in mind the 17 GPM rating is at max engine speed. Lower engine speed will also produce lower GPM flow. We rate the recommended use range for the EP1530 from 18-24 GPM. It would work with flow as low as 15 GPM but it turns much slower. The difference in theoretical torque of the two units is going to be somewhere from 800-1000 ft-lbs. Since you’ve cited loose rock I’m working under the assumption that you’re working with some top soil and possibly some clay mixed with intermittent rock. Our most common auger diameters are 9” and 12”. Would you be using an auger in that range and if not, what diameter(s)? Are you planning to set fence posts and to what depth?
Nice but i cant seem to get any dealer to find me one in Texas. I'd hate to look elsewhere but that is the choice I have.

I really like danuser equipment but they are really tough to buy. When you go thru the dealers in your own area they can charge what they want on top of the suggested retail price. I just went thru it buying some parts for an auger bucket.

What is the maximum diameter auger that can be used on each drive?
Great question! The 615 has a max diameter of 24”, the 1020 max is 30”, and the 1530 and 2035 both have max diameters of 36”.
