The waiver wire is so hard to gauge this year even when you look at trends/numbers. Bowers blows up, then two weeks of almost no targets (so benched), then Bowers blows up again. Wicks 13 targets, Watson and Doubs sit, Wicks gets 3 targets. You could almost throw a dart at a waiver wire list at this point.
Why would Hubbard be falling? He’s had three great weeks, even when the rest of the offense looks bad. Is it because of a rookie who is coming off of an injury that hasn’t even been activated off of NFI-IR?
I think at least through the next few weeks, Hubbard will be viable to start. Even when the offense scored 10 points, he received 17 total touches and nearly 100 yards.

B rob was still splitting touches and getting the goal line carries to start the game. Didn’t start giving mcnichols started actually getting touches when they were up 24-6 and they just stretched the lead after that. No need to use a guy coming off an injury when you’ve got a lead like that

Hubbard is playing great but so was Mark Ingram during Kamara’s rookie year. Saints had a better offense but Kamara took over that backfield later down the season. Panthers didn’t draft Brooks in the second round to not have a sizable role.
