Hi All,
After Ubuntu Desktop installation I was facing this issue " vboxuser is not in the sudoers file .This incident will be reported!" - here is the solution-
00:00 Into
00:57 vboxuser is not in the sudoers file
02:02 Login as root ( su root)
02:37 Install sudo on Ubuntu
03:37 adduser "username" sudo
04:39 Permission change ( chmod 0440 /etc/sudoers
05:20 reboot
05:40 Try sudo su-
#vboxuser
#ubuntu
#sudoers

If it's says: "bash: adduser: command not found" after you use the adduser command, write:
su -l
then use the adduser command. It worked for me like this but I had to restart, it didn't work with log out.

Just go ahead and delete your virtual machine. Create a new one. While creating change both username and password. Remember this password.
And then when the installation is done.
They'll ask to create another password.
So enter the same password there as well.
So you won't be confused.
I think these 2 passwords -
The first one is for system login
The 2nd one is for terminal or administrator.
So keep same username&name.
And same password. And follow entire process as suggested above.
And done. That's it ✅️
I probably kept 2 different passwords and got confused in between them and couldn't login into terminal/administrator for any sort of purposes and wasted time on a lot of videos for 1 to 2 hrs and then just deleted the old VM because I had no data on it and just created a new one. That's it!
