I can’t get over the fact that the animators did Squad 0 squeaky clean.
I like that her Bankai didn't kill them but rather wove their fate to die just like they saw it. (For those who read the manga, they would understand this :D )

@@THIS-IS-Master-Chief zaraki was actually capable of one-shotting Gerard. He's not that strong, his immortality and evolution makes him broken.
The reason he wasn't dying is because zaraki kept missing the quincy cross in his body (gerards true form) and kept destroying his puppet body.
@@krimsonk-9478 just watched a video by MrTommo recently titled ‘LILLIE VS GERARD who’s the strongest sternritter’ and he goes into detail on this, even the writer confirmed that hitting the Quincy cross wouldn’t kill him apparently, also it’s the first time zaraki activated bankai, I think with practice he’s easily one of the most powerful in the series + zaraki is still my fav character in the whole of bleach overall

I love that Squad 0's bankais aren't overtly offensive but can easily kill you by manipulating fundamental spiritual forces like the power of names and the tapestry of fate of itself. Very fitting abilities for the ones who sit above everything

Meanwhile tons of it is cut. I get that you have to cut it for copyright reasons, but still, if I hadn't seen the actual episode I would not konw what's happening at times here, the parts that aren't straight action still matter
One thing I've noticed about Bleach, is that people talk about their powers or abilities too much. They literally explain like exactly how they function and how they're countered. I think it's for the viewer's sake but it doesn't make sense from a, I'm trying to win a fight and not die perspective.

He didn't choose to die. Certain members feared if he stayed alive they would kill them or destroy the world. So they approached him and told them they would desmember him for the "future". The soul king is long gone it's just his corpse thats there. Soul society is pretty shitty huh

Why is it only Ishida and Jugram that don't get unique power ups with coloured wings or whatever? Also the very first strike Ishida blocked from Senjumaru makes no sense... he uses the back of his hand on hers to somehow stop her forward attack... Blut vene doesn't just protect the veins. We see with fake Yhwach and jugram. they use blut vene to protect themselves from the temperature of yamas bankai.

I did the calculations for how fast Yh was shot back, a single ri is 2.4 miles. I’m the seven seconds from the initial hit he flew a total of a 1000, ri which means he was traveling 1,242,800 mph. Kind of a lower end calculation then I was expecting they were breaking light speed by the arrancar arc.
Its anime the 7 secs it takes the scene to play out doesnt matter unless we get told an actual time frame. We gotta as people unable to process speeds close to the stupid levels of ftl+ bleach scales to be shown the scenes at a pace that allows us to watch.

Also, he didn't actually travel 1000 ri. The 5 places still looked quite big. Had he actually traveled 1000 ri, they would've looked like we were looking at the moon.
You are acrually overestimating the speed. Also, this light speed thing is bs, Bleach doesn't scale that high, It's not Kubo's intention. Power scalers got to that by taking too serious a few scenes that Kubo probably didn't think about deeply

It's just embarrassing that squad 0 couldn't even defeat a single elite quicny. Mayuri, a creep who joined the gotei 13 for Uraharas body, defeated Pernida, Urahara, who didn't fight much defeated. Askin and Shunsui took Lili baro and almost defeated him with nanao. And other court guard members were able to take on Gerad valkyrie.
Squad 0 is powerful because of Oetsu and Ichibei and only with the blessed power of SK.
Otherwise, in terms of pure talent, Iq Biq and hard work, Gotei 13 wins.
Pernida died because it ate Nemu's remains (apart from her brain) which causes him to self-destruct from excessive regeneration. Even if Mayuri won, it was highly likely by accident and without Nemu he would've continued to evolve to Zaraki's level, which Mayuri has admitted that he would lose if it turned out that way.
Lille Barro was beaten by a family ceremonial sword specifically forged to deflect the attacks of a god in order to kill them. Without it, Shunsui and Nanao would've died.
There was no way Urahara could've survived inside Askin's poison dome for long, if it weren't for Grimmjow's sneak attack and hollow reiatsu being especially lethal to Quincies Askon also would've won. They only beat him because they happened to have an exceptionally powerful (and fast) Arrancar on their side.
All the Sternritters already had broken abilities and Gerard alone would've demolished the Soul Reapers due to his Schrift - and all them have access to their full powers. Squad 0 had to apply a limiter on themselves and each time one of them (apart from Ichibei) releases their Bankai the other 3 needs to die, due to the sheer amount of reiatsu that would throw the three realms out of balance if they weren't. If Squad 0 didn't give a rat's ass about maintaining balance between the realms and activated their Bankai simultaneously, there is absolutely no way they could've lost (with the exception of Yhwach with the Almighty) since Senjumaru's Bankai alone literally weaves fate itself.

• Gerard is entangled in a cloth which he tries to cut off but is then frozen solid, the same way he gets frozen by Hitsugaya in the future
• Pernida is swallowed by (Black) Quick Sand after trying to fight it. Pernida loses by swalloving the remains of Nemu Kurotsuchi, Kurotsuchi meaning "Black Soil".
• Jugram tries to fight the fire but is instead engulfed in flames. Jugram fights Bazz B in the future.
•Urvu is the only one we don't see either hurt or defeated so it's likely he is going to find a way to fight the effects of this Bankai, maybe ?

After this arc, Uryuu survives. I won´t go into details as to how, but i have a theory regarding his future demise.
Uryuu, as a Quincy, is a mortal tangible being (as opposed to Hollows and Shinigami which are spirits), and thus is bound for judgement after death.
Maybe, for his crimes against the Soul King, and his role as a Quincy, he may be cast into Hell. The valley of Screams (Bleach´s name for the dimension where Hell is located), is described as a mantle of eternal darkness, only illuminated by the odd stream of lava, where sinners burn.
I don´t want to slip in catholic rethoric into Bleach, i am taking this from the announcement that the next arc will be focused on Hell, and the Bleach Hell movie.
