Good video. I like how you have done the fan, Charlie at DC kits sells some speakers which I make from two iPhone speakers which he calls IP2 speakers, those are even easier to fit in the model, they don’t need any trimming or sealing with glue. Richard
Hi mate and thanks for sharing, found this very interesting as I’m just starting a new layout and will have to make the decision of whether to go for DC DCC myself at some point. Have bought a few Hattons Class 66s that I could do with getting on the rolling road for a proper look for any wobbles! The class 37 looks great in the BR Blue, all the best, Paul
There is a rat's nest of wiring in there that I tried to tidy up and fitting a speaker is a right pain with the space that is available. Neat trick with the fan - I'll be doing that! I like the idea of fitting the buffer with lights - nice one - Pete
Hi just to let you know you are supposed to take the speaker out of its enclosure if you looked at the plate covering the fan there are 2 holes and 2 pins face the speaker towards the fan locating it on 2 pins then use 2 of the original screws it then fits as it should do
That's great, the fitting will now be straightforward on my 37. Thanks.
Easy enough fitting sound just matter of taking your time 🔧🔧Sammy The Hamster

I'll have to have a look at those. Cheers.
