People leaving before receiving their flowers we should be use to by now because unfortunately we get caught up in throwing shade versus throwing flowers.
“As for Butch Queens, I have no rivals. Those are my daughters.” 😂😂 Kassandra was a true talent and is truly missed. Continue to Sleep In Paradise. Thank you Caesar for this dope interview
I just cried like a baby the moment Kass started talking. I still mourn the passing of my twin but I will always celebrate his life🙏🏽. Thank you Caesar for posting this precious footage.💖
THANK YOU SO MUCH CAESAR. I think about him every day. His life was cut too short. He was everything in vogue and he could've been everywhere with it. I mourn him. I took his passing EXTREMELY hard.
Icon! I remember sneaking on the internet in the dial up days 😂 The very first vogue clips I saw were of Prince Mugler, Dashaun Lanvin and the icon Kassandra Ebony. I loved all 3 performers but Kassandra got me up! Screaming at the computer and everything. So talented and gone too soon 😇😇
Baby Kassandra was one of a kind & there will never be another to do it the way he did. You had to have seen him perform in person to really appreciate his art
This still hits me hard. Mind you I only met him once in passing but he had such a impact on me without his knowledge. Vouging really was a outlet for me at one point and my inspiration has always been kassandra. People use to try him soooooo hard but his talent was undeniable. When he died ballroom just changed for me. I honestly feel like he has not be honored in the manner worthy of his caliber. Any stunt you do guess what kassandra did it first. Sleep in peace you touched so many of us!!!!!
I think it’s just upsetting that this Diamond in the rough wasn’t brought to the world. This is the ONLY competition Deshun had. Outside of him NO RIVALS! The cleanest, spins and dips. That cadence and energy. He gave all elements with ease. This baby did coreo to the fight scene in kill Bill. A brilliant light. May his sweet soul rest in perfect peace 💜🙏🏽
@@humbled92_Mister you are correct. I’m getting old. Watching Kass thinking about pony and deshaun. Either way Kassies had killer dips spins. He alone held it down while everyone went touring and chasing their fortunes. Kassie held it down And did it well
He fell ill,but I cant say what exactly was wrong. Most of us would/do think the “A” word, but I didn’t know his status and I don’t say things about people that I don’t know for sure to be true.
I understand the privacy AND stigma issues. I always think it's appropriate to ask how one died, especially in moments that could be used as a cautionary tale. For instance, if he did die of AIDS, it's important to let someone as young as him know there's really know reason to die do young. If drugs, again, there's a cautionary tale to share.
Can anyone answer why lesbians never show up in this, or are never included? I don't understand the LGBT community, but I believe that lesbians are a bit too reserved, if not stand-offish.
🗣👤God judges the heart how we die isn’t as important as how we lived for the attributes of character, who you are as a person how God used you as a vessel in the world of darkness but kept you as a light for people to see and be reminded of how good God is. Stay humble🤞🏾
@@Atlantaboi84 I understand that or community is triggered by the question, because often it's assumed that we want to know if the person died of AIDS. I also understand the stigma that disease still carries, which is why we don't care to talk openly about it. However, it's a legitimate question, no matter the cause of death. Now, if one chooses not to answer, that's ok, too. I'm not losing sleep. Smooches!
The Icon should've received her flowers before! A talent like no other, I'll study her artistry forever. ❤

I always thought Pony was Deshaun's rival, not Kassandra?

@@dallaskennedy6117 I agree, but how did he die? Accident?
@@WESTFREE2 you can’t save him or bring him back so why is it so urgent or y’all to know the how and why. Just remember his legacy and keep it moving.

Presumably complications of Pneumonia. But whatever really happened, I hope he's dancing in peace.
