Do you have experience with the replacement cables being bad? I've ordered a total of 4 of different stores and al have the problem not even recognizing the sim. Well one did temporary but introduced bad readings of the battery thinking it drained to zero within a minute which was only solved by removing the sim and it rebooting to it's correct battery status. It fortunately did allow me to fully save al my files at the full usb 2.0 speed though. It also only charged when the is switched off (Is dead too now).
The other 3 cables are completely dead. The only thing that works is the sound when starting the phone.
Thing is. When I put back the original cable everything works again apart from the charging.

I had the same problem, changed subboard and flex cable and after one day I had the same problems again. I added the isolation tape too. It just helped for a short time. If I press the connector on the main board there is no effect. If I press the connector on the subboard i charges for some seconds but then stops again. Cannot turn it on now. Sad I liked this phone. Thinking about buying a new one after 3 years but it will have the same problem. Do you have any ideas? I will try to check for a broken soldering order something like that, but. I have two broken subbords and flex now. It is not very probable.
