- My mother and I visited Będzin, the town in Poland where my Bubbie (grandmother) lived before the Holocaust. First, she was taken to the Będzin ghetto, and then transported to several concentration camps before liberation. Like many survivors, she has never returned to Poland or Germany.
We also visited Katowice because we believe my Zadie (grandfather)was born there, however, we were not able to confirm that.
This is shared in celebration of the lives of Phyllis (Kirschenzweig) Einhorn who is still alive (1922 - ) and Arnold Einhorn (1912 - 1997), both who lost countless family members, moving to the US with only each other and their daughter, my mother.

Zamek tez byl zydowski?
Nie
Pochodzę z SOSNOWCA a Będzin to miasto gdzie chodziłam do szkoły. Te miasta mają wiele wspólnego ze sobą jeśli chodzi o czasy 2 wojny światowej. Cześć miasta Sosnowiec też była zamieszkania przez Żydów.
