Very exciting. One thing, if rose hips are used for vitamin C, maybe burdock too, aren’t they finite? That might need a tweak (unless it’s fish as well)
Yup! This will definitely be an issue if they don't find a way around it. Maybe we will hear more when the release video drops. Maybe we will be able to find vitamin C capsules? Who knows? If that is the case they will of course have to add them to the beachcombing loot for all difficulties. It's definitely worrying, but I imagine they have found a way around it.
so excited! would love if poison wolves don’t get scared off by the torch/weapon mechanic. I’m trying to think if any renewable foods will have vitamin C? I think fish might be the only renewable food in TLD with small amounts? we’ll see!
im soo excited for this ! I know people have fears but i trust hinterland to make their additions logical and sane, they dont have a history of dissapointing so i will be positive. Every update makes me so happy, not even cyberpunk dlc makes me this hyped :D
True! It does concern me that both of the new maps seem like challenging maps. It does however seem like most of these new mechanics are restricted to this map so hopefully new players won't need to deal with it early on.
As far as I'm aware, all food items decay slower outside (I haven't technically tested this but its definitely the consensus) I wouldn't recommend outdoor containers though because if the food items condition falls to 0%, it'll disappear from the container permanently. For food in general, I recommend leaving it outdoor, on the ground.

New speedrun just unlocked where you load up a travois with meat and carry it across the island
I was excited for the cougar I guess we gotta wait a bit longer for that. This will be interesting too though

That's my concern too! Though I imagine Hinterland have thought it through in the case of 'forever-runs'.
your content is so underrated you should have way more views!! keep it up!
I appreciate the kind words... thank you!

some interesting moves being made with the contamination mechanics. im excited for the new region and Tale!
Quick question: Anyone aware of the best storage for the new food items (carrots, stew, pies, etc.)? Cheers.

Yeah, won't we need a gas mask for this?
I'm assuming the ventilator will fill that purpose!
Respirators are for toxic dust, vapors, fumes ect. They use disposable cartridges depending on what the hazard is.
nice
