Speaking as a magician, I practiced 6 hours a day for about 5 years.......I still practice every day, but not as much. Fighting games are easier to get good at, but magic is a little easier to get GREAT at. Because, as a magician, you're not typically competing, you're just pleasing the crowd, and everyone loves magic. As a fighting game player, you have to prove yourself over and over against other people who are as good as you or better, and it's a zero sum game. Magic is about spreading the love.......fighting games require you to dominate.
Thumbs up if you want Gootecks to record the Hugo First To Ten Money Match for the channel~
I am completely okay with guests who aren't experts at the game. I was entertained, and IMO that's the more important that.
I think Rob is a fun personality to have on the show. Besides, I love the guests who come on that aren't as good as Mike and Ryan. It makes them really fun to root for :)
Reminds me of when Ian Cofino hit that godlike Raging Demon on Marvelous Adventures

After I seen that E Ryu play from Gootecks at the start, and then Mike picked Hugo against that Ken, I thought they were both gonna win, didn't expect him to predict the coin flip though.
I think the guy switched the card when he pulled the paperclip off. How he had enough cards for all the combinations and didn't get them mixed up though is a tough one.
