I believe anything infected still has a conscious but is driven by pain and torment. The scariest monsters are the ones who are always in constant pain which drives them to madness.
Not to mention a family name, since Sean mentions that he inherited "Mustard Mansion" from his grandfather, implying that they own all of those things and Sean somehow suffers thanks to all of them.

Add a backpack mod and a few other mods such as astikorcarts and lost cities, and then make a nomad style world where you're constantly running from the infection. I think that'd be sick. Imagine watching the infection take over an entire building slowly.

If you break the lowest piece of sand, and then immediately place down a torch where it was, all of the sand pieces above it fall into the torch and immediately break. Also works with rails iirc And if you made an encased fan and put it blowing towards lava, you could have made stacks of glass without the furnaces and much faster
