Thanks for an excellent instructional video. I particularly appreciate the absence of annoying music. I seldom click a “like” button. Yours is the exception.
Hi john still doing fabulous leather work I see , all the items ive had off you are as good today as the day I got them off you I need to catch up with you in the new year keep up the quality work
you made very nice moulded john. can i ask something. how mm leather for this ? cause it look very rigid. or you using leather hardener alcohol/water base ?
Hi John, is that a commercially available belt attachment or did you make it. If purchased might you tell me from where ? Thank you so much. I enjoy your videos very much. Inspiring :)
Takes me back seeing how you have mastered the art.
Might include the suggestion to use belly leather to avoid all the notching. Belly leather forms well and holds it shape as good as any other leather.
You and Ian Atkinson are the best ... in the world of leather crafts. Greetings from Spain John.
Thank you, atb John.

What are you lighting In the beginning
Since this video was done 5 years ago you didn't show what you soaked the leather in to get it soft
Hi Dale it's was just water and you soak until no more bubbles are coming out of the leather about 5 mins, hope this helps, atb John.
Fantastic
Thank you, have a great Christmas and stay safe.
Thank you. Great video. At 0:19 what is the first liquid applied to the leather?
Thanks for your comment, that's just water.
How long do you leave the leather piece in the mold before removing? Thanks for the video.
I leave it for about 2-3 hours then take the leather from the mould It will dry a lot quicker out of the mould but be careful when you take it out.
Thanks for the reply. Do you just use water? There's an Instructables tutorial where the guy is using alcohol and water.
Just plain water nothing else.
