I slept on a ledge on Ben Arthur last night.
I would never consider that sport as potentially appropriate before I found your channel.
    Thank you Al?
I'm ex RAF, part-time mountain rescue and super safety conscious.
Sometimes your video's scare the sh#t out of me.
    But,
Oftentimes- you have reintroduced me to personal choice V Risk.
I'm now less Betty and more Jim (Betty was an extreme freak!)
I have actually camped "near" some (= < 12 of your spots).
Because we are all different and often, want a different view, or airflow through my tent.
    I thank you.
For encouraging me and sometines mine to leave the couch behind and Get Out There!
My job would be much more difficult if we hadn't seen your vids!
GOD Bless you Sir and your amazing Blue xxx

I was recommended your channel when I asked someone in another video if it would be possible to hike up Scafell Pike with a dog this video has proved it would not only be possible but my dog would love it. The lakes are such a beautifully breathtaking place totally magical.
Have done quite a few hikes in the area nothing as treacherous as in this video however.
Would love to do some wild camping, I like that you’ve included all the kit you used, and given a quick review. Some of the gear it has to be said is quite expensive but as the saying goes ‘buy cheap buy twice’ . Will defo use your affiliate links for any purchases. New subscriber all the best to you and Blue.

It’s easy to see where it got the name ‘Sharp Edge’ when you see your videos & drone footage…OMG! 😮 Was watching part of it (around 15:07 mins, & immediately saw what looked like the shape of a dog’s (or wolf’s) face along the top of the rock formations…so I deduced that someone must be trying to say the area is made for you & Blue to explore! 🤣

Brilliant vlog and epic drone shots. My only visit to Sharp Edge was by accident in my scouting days. Thick cloud in January ice everywhere biting wind and we found ourselves coming down it 😢. Anyway we survived with no mishaps just glad we couldn’t see the bottom but VERY scary. I will go back and do it again tho in good conditions.

Absolutely love your videos, struggled to watch you on sharp edge,I’m so terrified of heights! But I’m a cold water swimmer so I totally get your feelings having a dip. ❤

Until you do it you’ll not quite get that feeling. It’s ace😬

Wow Al, the camera/drone work was so good. The views were magnificent, the feeling of being there was strong. My heart leapt a couple of times on sharp edge, I should know better as you have taken us there before, it still frightens the life out of me every time lol. The happy and well deserved contentment you experienced in that idyllic setting, was evident Alan. You are an amazing advertisement for the Lake District and the Great Outdoors. Thank you for all the hard work you do to share this beautiful world and your experiences with us.

Nice one Al, keep up the great work. Did Sharp Edge about 20 years ago on one of our winter walking trips in a December. Weather was dry ish, but as we got onto the ridge the clag came down and made the going under foot slippery as hell. Was really glad to get on to Blencathra. All the best.

I love the fact that I always seem to be out walking and enjoying the nature around me when Al and Blue's videos drop... seems very appropriate! Can't wait to watch when I get home. ❤

@@BUSHMANandBLUE 100% mate, it's easy enough if you know what you're doing and also if the weather conditions are good but can turn nasty real quick if any of those things aren't aligned eh. Totally agree and you always show that these things are doable but you've got to take care.

Hi Al, that’s your best video yet. The aerial shots and music were fantastic. You’ve found another level buddy. Glad you had a good day in the hills
