If you click align to something and maintain the speed it gives you can warp to it instantly. If you’re not pre-aligned carrying speed doesn’t help, though I’m not sure if it hinders either. Tricks like webbing a hauler to speed up aligning can result in the ship warping off sideways as the game views your ship as a sphere - what direction your ship is pointing on screen is irrelevant. Also you can narrow your d-scan down to 5°, hold down v and click on objects on screen, the system map or overview and scan those objects specifically. To hunt loot like this I’d warp to a safe, align to another safe and keep moving while pulling up the system map and scanning through all the planets etc to pinpoint your wrecks. Having located them I’d warp to 100, bookmark a wreck and warp back to your safe. Next I’d warp direct to the wreck and loot/salvage it. Rinse and repeat.
