Remember when Busch moved larson at Chicago and he said “if you don’t like that type of racing, don’t watch it”. Seems like a hypocrite
I get what you are trying to say, but maybe using the Larson move isn't the best example. One thing to pass a driver clean with 1 to go then getting the bumper on 3-4. It's another to get the bumper in 1-2 and repaying the favor. Logano took a risk with that bump n run, guess we get to see if it was the best decision over the remaining races, haha.
@@hotspur5621 This exactly. Larson and Busch were both playing a little rough on that finish and it was a great finish. In this case, MTJ literally went out of his way to race Joey clean, then Joey immediately goes and puts a bumper to him first chance he gets.

he got into him coming to two to go, logano had him cleared and truex moved him. (that's fair) logano took the outside and held him off for another lap and half. then when truex cleared logano, logano paid him back.

As someone who can't stand Logano and thinks he's a punk, that was an incredible finish, and he did exactly what he should have. He moved Truex without wrecking him! Great job. All the drivers complaining is ridiculous, this right here is racing!

I think the initial outrage was that people thought Joey continued to make contact and run MTJ up the wall, but upon audio review, we know that's not true. Joey simply bumped MTJ then Marty dove down left to Joey.

It just seems any time Joey gets to someone’s bumper close to the end of a race he doesn’t race them he just moves him. But when someone does it to him it’s the end of the world

They have fenders for a reason, ladies and gentlemen. If you enjoy racing where there isn't any contact, and hardly much interaction at all, perhaps look at F1 or IndyCar.

All those guys complaining about Logano's bump-and-run (here's looking at you especially, MTJ): It's one thing if it were a superspeedway, but c'mon. This is Martinsville; if you can't expect it there, don't race there. If any of them were in the same position, I guarantee they'd do the exact same thing Logano did.
Kyle Busch has no room to complain about what Lagano did. Busch did the same thing to Kyle Larson at Chicagoland. Larson may have bumped you 1st but you bumped him back. It's hard stock car racing.
Plus Busch didnt need to win since he had like 4 or 5 already at that point. Larson needed the win.

Moral of the story is don’t be the leader entering 3 on the last lap of martinsville. Joey lifted off 2 and let Martin clear him to set him up to knock him out of the way. Guess he didn’t learn from the kenseth incident. Can’t wait to see Martin punt him in Florida.

All those drivers that were bitching about Logano moving Truex have all moved someone for a win or two in their careers, especially Kyle Busch. Logano did what any driver in the 80s and 90s would have done to win a race
I've been watching NASCAR for a few years now, but there have been many times when a driver has moved someone up and out of the way, particularly at short tracks, to gain positions or win a race. The fact that they're all having a cry now is just dumb, they didn't wreck, they raced hard to the finish. In the end, it's others in the Round of 8 having a whinge because they weren't up there to do exactly what Logano did. He did what he had to do, and now I guess if Truex Jr. and Logano come together on track, we're in for one helluva fireworks show. Bring on Texas, Phoenix and Miami!

When did all these drivers start complaining about hard racing. Logano did what he had to do in order to win this race. Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch have done that to win races all of their careers. Earnhardt did it many times. Gordon did it many a time as well. Come on that was tough racing. I'm a Truex fan and I didn't like that he and everyone were up in arms about that. He finished third and got beat.
because it hurt their points. kurt is now 25 points behind 4th. kyle is 46 up. but if another winner occurs he's only 21 points up. harvick and truex are tied for third. but with another winner one's out guaranteed.

What Joey did was the old NASCAR. He did what used to be very common, good hard racing. He did NOT dump him, if you want an example of that go back to Kyle Busch wrecking Larson earlier this year. All of these newer drivers have gone soft and expect people to roll over and let them win. That finish was textbook short track racing. If you don't like it, stop watching.

Kinda wanted Denny to win, to be honest. Knew he was setting up for that turn four wreck to swoop down below 'em. Except it didn't happen in turn four and he didn't have enough time.

Joey Kept his cool, and showed he is the superior short track racer over Truex. Truex hit him repeatedly door slamming him, Joey lands the perfect bump and run, and instead of going for the run off the high side like Joey had been pulling off all race, he turned hard left into Joey and lost the race.
Then him an his fans acted like a bunch of sore losers. Embarrassing themselves in the process.

If Truex hadn't turned left into Logano, he might have kept up enough speed to beat him to the line. He slowed him self down when he tried to wreck or block Logano. He should have never listen to Clayton Hughes.
